Jenessa + Derrick had a beautiful, intimate wedding at a rustic barn in Mississippi. They decided to not see each other before the ceremony and so the moments before the ceremony began were full of nervous anticipation and excitement. What made the moment even sweeter than most was that both of Jenessa's flower girls were eager and excited to help in any way. Therefore, they became the official dress "fluffers." Show more

Took this picture about a month ago during an engagement shoot for my good friends, Durgy and Anaar. We got onto location after it had just rained and there were way too many ideas going on in my head. I saw the log and tried to convince them to get on it. With the log, rocks and ground below all being wet and slippery, it took almost 25-30 minutes to setup the shot. I wanted for the shot to look enchanted with a fairytale element to it.
...they lived happily ever after. Show more

This image is particularly special to me. Paul & Donna both work in the Natural History unit for the BBC and have a real love of the natural world. They particularly love fossils and dinosaurs, both of which were huge factors in the decor for their wedding day - including a real T-Rex jawbone as pride of place!
Paul & Donna got engaged very close to this spot, which is a beach in Dorset, UK, a World Heritage site and known as the 'Jurassic Coast' as it's famed for the amount of ammonites and fossils that are found here; you can walk along the coastline and see them everywhere. So, we thought it would be wonderful to bring them back to the place that means so much to them for their wedding photographs. It was a hot Saturday in July and filled with tourists, but amazingly we managed to find a completely empty spot to create some really meaningful wedding images for the couple. Show more

This shot of Charlotte & George was taken At The Mill, near York, a gorgeous venue with lots of lovely spots for portraits. I knew from the second I saw this bridge that I wanted this shot and waited in anticipation until the sun went down. The bride and groom didn’t have long until their first dance so this was taken in a hurry! I set a flash behind them and one gridded to my left to help them pop in this lovely twinkly light scene. This photograph was taken at Sandhole Oak Barn in Cheshire, UK. The couple are lit by a single gelled speedlight placed behind them and I also set off a smoke bomb behind the couple, in front of the flash, to make the photograph look more dynamic. Show more

The rain was falling hard during this particular wedding. Luckily we planned to shoot around Philadelphia City Hall which is one of the most incredible masonry buildings in the world. As we were shooting it started to rain really hard so we jumped into one of the tunnels there. Seeing the light, I asked them to just hang out at the opening of the tunnel at which point the groom made a joke causing his bride to bend backwards in just the perfect way, making their silhouettes a really intriguing capture when I pressed the shutter. After a long wedding day, after all the speeches are done, it was the perfect time to sneak out with this beautiful bride and groom for some romantic shots just outside the reception hall. When the chemistry is excellent and the couple look as good as Nataliya and David, everything aligns perfectly at the click of the shutter! This image was every bit as elegant and beautiful as I had envisioned in my mind! Show more

This was taken at the beautiful Sint Joris kerk in Eindhoven, Netherlands. During the ceremony i scouted the whole church to find a nice composition. I think this picture really shows how big the church is, as the bride and groom give an scale of this magnificent location. Show more

Hannah Hall Leicestershire (United Kingdom) Hannah Hall Photography @hannahhallphotography

Hannah and Dan's guests were partying hard and I felt pretty guilty dragging them away from the dance floor, but the little tree all lit up with fairy lights at Highgate House in Northamptonshire is lovely and combined with the gorgeous last light in the sky, I was desperate to shoot through the lights to grab a back lit portrait. Hannah's cousin held the flash for me - I think he thought I was a little crazy - and it didn't take long to catch this shot and they were able to head back to the dance floor to carry on partying. A moment of calm in a crazy night! Show more

This image was taken back in Spring at the gorgeous Browsholme Hall in Lancashire, England. The light was fading fast but I was drawn in by the gorgeous colours of the sky together with the lone tree in the field we were leaving after evening portraits. Show more

We went to this amazing lake to have a "trash the dress" photoshooting with this lovely couple at the sunset. A Nikon d800 was used with a 35mm lens and a SB910 flash from the left at the maximum power and the closest zoom. Show more

Brandon and Jenny's wedding was on a rainy and wet day in LaRonge Saskatchewan. Last year fires swept through the forests forcing many to evacuate their homes in LaRonge and around. When the groom mentioned the burned down forests I immediately knew that the forests were something I wanted in their wedding photos! They looked stunning against the black forest and new life growing from the ground up. It almost seemed symbolic as if it stood for the beginning of a new life! It was a fantastic day with two amazing and genuine people and their families, I could not have asked for and better couple to spend a rainy day in the forest with. Show more

This was the big day of Nathan & Anke and this is probably one of the pictures I loved the most of their wedding.
It was shot in the Netherlands on our way to their party location, one of those perfect spots.
The lighting was perfect, the car being cute and the couple not paying to much attention to me. Show more

Their passion for the beauty of nature brought us here. Me and them in this dry land. It was a very hot afternoon, while they started to walk, hand by hand into the field, I kept my distance so that they could enjoy their first moments as husband and wife. This allowed me to capture them and their souls in the wild. Show more
