Bridal mornings are hectic, full of emotions, and jam-packed with stuff to do. But amidst it all, I enjoy portraying the simple moments that make up for a full day of joy.

Drone shots really emit another perspective onto most ordinary views, leaving them extraordinary when shot from above. The play of shadow and light is the extra sauce on the amazing view the shot had.

Some images are just meant to happen, and not all days are created equally, so it was on this beautiful day I decided to do something different: to not only focus on the story between Him and Her, but to capture the contrast between the stark sky and the groom and groomsmen, in themselves contrasted by the bride.

Let me tell you a funny story that actually makes this image for me all the more special. The gargantuan thing hovering ominously above our couple is quite in fact a not so ordinary heater. Whilst at their feet was a dozen of chickens running around, we were allowed to create this backlit shot. To this day every time I see this image again, I can’t happen to think about those little animals running around just out of frame. It just shows how the most unexpected locations can have a wonderfully unique story behind them just hovering out of sight.

Is there any way to capture passion more strongly and intensely as with a backdrop of fire? I love it when, as a photographer, you're able to let the true passion of a couple speak through the photograph.

Love and joyous laughter are what connects us all. Without family and friends, a wedding is not what you’d want it to be. There is no stronger bond than that one that is built upon trust, love, and laughter.
