Hi! I'm Wim (or William in English), I was made in 1982 and I'm a professional wedding photographer from Belgium. My homebase is Nazareth, near Ghent.
I'm married to the best and prettiest woman in the universe. Together we have 2 (sometimes adorable) daughters.
You can describe my style as 'storytelling'. I don't like to pose my couples, but I have a special eye for the little moments at their big day. Only during the couple session I like to give them some guidelines but for me it's very important to keep it spontanious.
When I'm 'working' (I hate that word, it should be 'having fun') at a wedding, I'm always looking for exceptional spots at the location to take an 'award winning worthy' picture.

Droneshot on a famous hill in Flanders.
104th CollectionJust before dinner there was this magic 'golden hour'. I obligated the couple to come with me for some shots.
104th CollectionAs we passed this ruin, I just knew we had to take this beautiful shot in front of the gates.
103rd CollectionThe newlyweds were getting ready to pose for me on a bridge in Bruges, when two boats filled with tourists just passed by waving to them. I knew I had to take a picture of that moment.
102nd CollectionBefore the dinner party started I asked the couple to come down the stairs together holding hands and look into eachothers eyes. The edit in black and white makes the picture complete.
101st CollectionIn between meals I took the couple outside the venue to pose with my umbrella during an intimate moment. With her holding my flash and him holding the umbrella this is just a magical picture because you can also see the people in the venue in the background.
101st CollectionAt a little piece of nature near Bruges I took my drone for a flight. When I told the couple to kiss, they got completely lost in the moment.
100th CollectionSometimes I don't give my couples an assignment what to do during the shoot. I just hide in the bushes and tell them to do what feels right for them, with this result...
100th CollectionThis photo was taken in the cellar of an old abbey in Ghent. As the light of a spot felt on the wright place, we just had to take this picture.
99th CollectionAt the city park of Aalst (Belgium), there is this monument with perfect symmetric lines. I just had to make sure I didn't fall in the water behind me.
98th CollectionThe couple had chosen their old school where they first met as a location for the shoot. Wow! I just fell in love with the old stairs and windows and immediatly knew these were going to be great pictures.
97th CollectionThis couple had a white umbrella ready for the rain on their big day. That day was a very sunny day in january, but I allready knew that I was going to get a great picture with it at night. For this result I used a flash bouncing up the light in the umbrella.
96th CollectionAs we were walking down the bridge, I thought it would be fun to take the drone up for a flight. The bridge was splitting the image in half as the couple was practising their first dance.
95th CollectionFor the couple shoot we were taking a hike in a forest near Bruges. The path we were walking on was a bit wet so the groom took his wife in his arms and carried her through the mud. What a gentleman!
95th CollectionFor this picture I jumped in the bushes and gave the couple an assignment: 'whisper your favourite snack in each others ear, but in the most sexiest way'. It was hilarious!
94th CollectionIn Antwerp there is a museum in the harbor that has a beautiful wall outside with a glass seiling. As the sun came from behind the clouds, it was the perfect moment to take this picture.
94th CollectionThis photo was shot at an old abbey in Koksijde (Belgium) who is now a museum. I just love the old brick wall!
The couple was enjoying a tender moment just after they got married.
This was taken on top of the staircase in an old factory. The semetrical lines of the stairs are framing the couple in the middle of the picture.
93rd CollectionAs we saw the tree was lit beautifully with a gardenlight at the bottom, this moment was just perfect tot have 2 minutes of intimacy and relaxation before the first dance.
92nd CollectionFirst of all, I want to thank this kick-ass couple for doing everything I suggested. Not many brides or groomes would have the guts to lay outside on a wooden floor in their beautiful dress or suit.
As we saw dark clouds come nearby, we knew we had to take this photo immediatly without any hesitation. On a windy day it was very hard to keep the drone steady. It started to rain moments later...
