WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY FOR DREAMERS, DRUNKS & PARTY PUNKS!
Hello, I'm Daniel, a Cambridge based photographer that works all over the UK and Europe, and I bloomin love my job! I also have a rubbish beard, the laugh of an 'evil genius' (not my words), and a massive passion for photographing awesome people having awesome weddings! If you are after fun, vibrant and naturally captured photography, please take a look at my work, and drop me a message. Shabba!

Tracy & Edward had an amazing day at Woodhall Manor, and these light up letters were awesome, so we decided to get creative and make something magical for them! I used a single speed light with an orange gel (to match the lights) and I used it to create a silhouette effect for them behind the letters.

I found this stunning patch of light over at Easton Grange, and Kirsty & Brad just had the most perfect outfits to make it work, and without me even asking they just kissed and it was perfect.

74th Collection

We really lucked out with some stunning light at the end of the evening, so we decided to go for a walk, and it made for a beautiful moment and awesome shadows!

72nd Collection

A little stolen moment for Tom & Jade, so they could get away and practice their first dance at Chippenham Park, as they were both pretty nervous about doing it in front of all their guests!

71st Collection

A little moment captured between Danielle & Jonathan really summed up the hopes and dreams of every couple perfectly on their wedding day.

70th Collection

Laura & Kieron had a wonderful micro wedding here in the UK, and when we decided to go for a walk, they brought some balloons with them and they added that magical element to the photograph.

The rain had been relentless, but after a little break in the clouds, it dried up enough for us to get out and capture the sunlight popping through the autumn leaves.

The neon sign was cool enough, and because I didn't want to mess with the ambiance of the scene, yet also wanted to bring color to the couple to match the neon, I used a prism below my lens to bounce the neon light back into the camera and it resulted in this.

Emilie and Jason had a very intimate wedding due to Covid-19, and decided to embrace the moment, and celebrate in style once the knot had been tied. They were really happy, and it shows in this capture :-)

64th Collection

The light just appeared perfectly behind the groom's head, and I luckily managed to capture it as they had this stolen moment, I think just adding a little bit of magic to the scene.

62nd Collection

The rain almost ruined the chances to get this shot as it was starting to get heavy very quickly, but we managed to grab three photos before it got too much, of which this was the first frame, and Tom & Silvanna nailed the moment.

61st Collection

It was an awful day from a weather perspective, so we had to get inside and get creative, and I loved these lights and drapes inside the reception venue.

59th Collection

This photograph of Silvanna & Tom was captured at Chippenham Park in the UK, I really wanted to make sure the Love Rocks neon sign was properly exposed, so before the cake cutting I put a light up to expose the couple and not spill onto the sign, and it worked perfectly! The fact they were messing about just made the moment even better :-)

58th Collection

I captured this portrait of Marcus & Emily during a light rain shower here in the UK, using the water on my lens to add a little magic to the scene, and it worked a treat with the lighting from my flashguns and the venue.

Jody & Derry had a really magical wedding, the barn was only used for the ceremony, so we decided to use it again for some evening portraits. I two lights to capture this, one behind to create the starburst effect, and the other camera left (hidden by the wooden pillar) to light them having this moment.

This was one of those lucky 'moments' when the mixture of poor venue lighting, wide space, and a genuine lovely closeness between the bride Justine, and her father, just before he walked her down the aisle, all just came together and I was fortunate enough to capture it.

β€œIt had rained all day, pretty relentless, but my couple is fans of some of my OCF stuff, so requested we head out in the evening to catch something cool. I thought the lights up the venue drive were a cool backdrop, and though there was some potential for a cool effect with raindrops hitting my lens as the wind was light and blowing slightly from left to right across the road. I set up flash behind them directed into the brolly, a flash camera left with a MagMod dome just to expose their faces, and a 3rd flash camera left with a red gel pointed slightly towards and away from my camera so that it would catch the water on my lens and add some color to the scene. I only managed about 4 frames before the rain got too heavy to stay and my lens was drenched, this was the second of the 4, and it worked really well.”
