A picture worth one thousand words... This shot speaks for itself, fun and games from the get go! The pace a which this wedding moved was amazing, As was the entire day.The backdrop to the photograph is the wonderful Buxton Palace Hotel which is a stunning structure in its own right but when you ad all the fun of a wedding day it truly comes alight.
This wonderful couple were determined to make their special day a non stop fun filled laugh a minute! It was an absolute pleasure to capture all the fantastic moments of their wedding day, immortalised forever in their memories and through the power of photography.

Sometimes all you need is to look at life in a different way

Every wedding is special and touching in their own unique way, and that is why I love what I do so much. There's something so special, though, about photographing the memories of a couple whose love you have seen grow from the beginning. Having known Brad and Sophie separately for many years, watching them become a couple and fall in love was wonderful. Their love was so evident from the very beginning. Being asked to capture the happiest day of their life was an absolute honor for me. There's something different about photographing a wedding when you know the couple and their family. Every laugh, tear, smile, and emotion becomes more personal, and I believe that shines through in one's images. Their rustic, intimate, romantic wedding was an event all to fun to capture and be considered "work". I think this image encompasses the effortless love they share and the happiness that was shared by all that evening.

This image was taken at Aruba's national park Arikok.
It was about a 10min walk for the bride and groom but worth every minute.
Aruba is a very warm island in the Caribbean and the bride was a sport about walking in the heat with her dress and heels.

It had been an overcast day, ALL day! It's not till the very end when this magnificent sunset came out of the clouds at English Bay British Columbia. The couples said "Thank God for giving us this beautiful sunset, it's like He opened the clouds for us!"

Weddingcouple Jenny and Axel celebrated their weddingday in the most beautiful castle named Rosenau . The whole wedding was very emotional, you could just feel real love in the air. It was a real luck to be in the right time on the right place.

Weddingcouple Brendon & Yvonne celebrate their 3 weddingdays in a beautiful castle in Italy. On friday there was a nice bbq for all of the guests who came from everywhere around the world. Saturday was the official weddingday and on sunday there was some winetasting at the Chianti village. This winning picture is made on saturday. There was a really nice and emotional ceremony in the chapel of the castle. When Brendon & Yvonne came outside family and friends are smashing the rice at the newlyweds. Bride Yvonne is screaming and laughing out loud. This couple is so much fun and they love eachother so much.

During world war II, the city centre of Rotterdam was almost completely destroyed. As a result, Rotterdam is nowadays well known for its modern architecture. B+E asked me to capture the urban character of the city and to create a set of images during their wedding that displays the raw vibe of Rotterdam. This picture was taken at 'de luchtsingel', a bridge that connects different parts of the city. It is known for its exciting geometry and obviously the bright yellow color. Because of the shape and the lines of the bridge I chose to place the couple in the top centre of the frame, which resulted in this interesting composition.

Anne and Mark got married in may. They hoped for beautiful weather and an outdoor ceremony. But in the Netherlands, you never know what the weather will be, even in spring. They wanted to take pictures at this sand dune, because they love to come here in their free time. And while taking photo's of the two of them, the wind started blowing and dark clouds came rolling in. Not the weather they wished for, but when the veil started to blow in the wind, the magic happened!

Unique St. Henry’s Ecumenical Art Chapel was the location for this summer season’s last wedding photography. Amazing architectural space provided a challenging environment in terms of lighting. Big windows at the each side of the altar provided constantly changing hard light on that half-cloudy day. I had been waiting for a long time to take photos in this magnificent place.

Throwing the bouquet is very simple in wedding day. Today a light very strong. I've walk around and looking for a shot you can see feeling of bride and bridesmaids in same picture. Then I shoot it. In one life of a girl she will do only one times of throwing the bouquet. And I will capture a beautiful moment in one picture. Feeling, Lighting, Location. You can see everything in this picture and it's will remind you every times.

As she got out of that car I new this bride was not the type to settle for the easy option. A woman with personality, who new what she wanted in life and in love.
I got a glimpse of those stylish legs and rushed to capture the scene. Her wedding dress was classic with an edge - without loosing the romantic feel. Her classy arrival was the perfect start to this youthful and modern wedding in the even more trendy Covent Garden, London.

This was the wedding day of Yoana and Konstantin. They are realy nice and lovely couple. The wedding was in vintage style and when we talked about that, the first thing on my mind was that georgiuos sweet shop! They ate а piece of cake, laughter together much and delight to their big day!

Most wedding portraits show how beautiful the day is. We want to show how romantic and intimate the night can be. When the sun goes down there endless more opportunities to light the night.

Getting married together is very special. Your children being a part of it, is even more special. I family portrait together with four children, all in different ages can be a bit challenging. I just wanted them to play and have fun, so the memory of taking this family portrait would be a special one. And it was.

Wedding cars come in all shapes and sizes. This classic old Land Rover was the perfect vehicle for Jess & Jordan’s forest wedding, we just had to get it started.

Everywhere you look in Santorini, Greece is breathtaking! Waking up for a sunrise shoot to catch some lovely light was totally worth the effort, and we had the early morning quietness all to ourselves without all the hustle and bustle of tourists as seen during the day and/or during sunset time. This couple was up to anything for a photo, including climbing on curved rooftops for the perfect shot.

There is always a beginning for everything. For us it was here, University of British Columbia where we met. This is why we are back here, to seal our love for our special day..

Simple is my motto. I know in every couple wedding, groom will kiss the bride after finished ring ceremony. I run from left side to stand on center and looking for a beautiful angle for a moment shot. You can see a beautiful sky guest feeling and groom is a bride in this story. We were having walks in Stanley Park and when I saw this fairytale like forest with branches leaning down to a heart shape! It almost seems magical!

This wedding in Haarlem in The Netherlands was on a cloudy and sunny day in September. Behind the streets there are little city gardens, so beautiful. We walked through these gates and I asked the stunning Bride to stand still and play with her wedding veil and enjoy the moment. A beautiful moment on a very beautiful day.
