Anastasia & Sergej, an awesome couple, are more like 'let's try something totally different'. So we walked down the dunes to the beach and Sergej found this dead tree, which he would like to use for a picture. At the beginning, I was not completely convinced, but after taking the picture, I love it as well. The picture was taken in a little Spanish town, close to Marbella.

This Picture was taken during the wedding of Angela and Manuel at Garda Lake Italy at the sunset. It's really an amazing place. When the sun gets down it looks like a fairytale.

It was the hottest day of the year, so by the time sunset came around everyone was a lot happier. Lee’s Dad’s old truck proved to be a great prop; I had this image in my mind all day and just had to wait for the sun to get lower for the full effect. This pair added the final touch.

We turned a small 2h wedding at city hall into an awesome photoshoot after we had some hot drinks at the Christmas market around the corner.

This picture is from my first Wedding in the 2018 wedding-season with that lovely couple in the summertime in Germany :-) Great Location, great people and perfect weather.

I just LOVE when brides wear wedding lace. As a photographer, it’s always fun to play with, to create playful romantic wedding photos!

We took our beautiful couple out to the Jefferson memorial for an engagement session; we arrived well before the throngs of people and were able to capture this beauty as a bird flew by in the absolute perfect position.

When the weather was rainy on the wedding day of this couple, they arranged an old tanyard for the shoot.
The light in there was beautiful...

I tentatively suggested to the bride and groom we could climb down into the waterfall rocks for some photos. To my surprise, they were totally up for it. We had to climb barefoot and try to avoid all the nettles and brambles. I was crouching in the freezing water to get this shot but it was totally worth it and what stars the bride and groom were:).

Taken at the old monastery of the dom in Utrecht which dates from 1390-1440. Live Laugh Love & Enjoy each moment of your life!

Last shot of the night and we ended up at National Harbor to finish it off. There are a bunch of cliche shots that are done here but I wanted to think outside the box and use the reflection of the iconic Ferris wheel as my focal point to draw the viewer's eye to my couple. Lucky for me even though it was a long night already the bride and groom gave me free rein to do what I felt like would look best and this is what I came up with! I think it was one of their favorite shots from the day and for me, that means the world!

This photo was captured at a quirky venue in Newcastle. They have their own Photo Booth on-site and as it was a rainy day I suggested we take advantage of the booth. I placed the couple inside with the groom holding my flash which had a red gel and a sphere diffusor on it to spread the light omnidirectional. The red worked perfectly with the red of the Photo Booth text above. I then asked them to kiss slowly so I could grab the shot just before their lips met.

I love adventure. And my bridal couple too.
It was stormy weather and the two climbed on this rock in their wedding clothes. Below them, a raging river and I stood on a bridge and had the chance to capture this wonderful moment with my camera.

In our field of work, we tend to focus on showing the emotional side of the couple. I was able to shed light on this with the contrast which I created in this picture, the warm aura of the couple in a cold urban theme.

Taken on the wedding day in the public library. Using a mirror to create two times the lamps and adding a flash to light the couple created this effect where the wedding couple really stands out in the midst of the sea of lights.

Theo & Tamara, the day we had a lot of fun! Both are in for everything so we went everywhere we could go for nice pictures. Theo works as a manager for the national supplier of drinking water. Therefore we could use a really great pumping station for a part of the photoshoot. Theo & Tamara, you rocked!

Walking down the street - hand in hand! These amazing two ladies got married 2 years ago in a wonderful winery in Rheinland-Pfalz. On our way to the main photo spot, I saw them, walking down the street like this. So I decided, that this could be the photo, they wanna have.

Jess and Jon were one of those couples that just wanted to take photos all day long, great for me. At dusk I came this composition that I loved, without hesitation they followed my lead, a few twirls later we came up with this.

The night of our couples sangeet it was pouring all day; after their sangeet program we sneaked them outside covered by a clear umbrella for all 3 minutes; this was one of our favorites from the group. We had our groom bend her back ever so slightly while covering the two of them with an umbrella, we had a light behind them to lighten up the rain and create a bokeh effect as well.

This picture was taken at the monastery of the Cathedral Tower in Utrecht together with these two beautiful women and a little bit of backlight...

Working a wedding over by Baltimore Harbor which is home of Under Armor is always bound to get some runners in a shot! This one just ended up trying not to distract me which was nice and also helped my shot which I suspected it would! Thank you to them and congrats to my clients for being so amazing!

This shot was taking in the main lobby of the hotel surrounded by lots of people at the bar and photo booth. I had the flash quite close to them with grids to eliminate any light spill. Used the camera settings to crush all the light from the scene so the only light picked up were the bright chandelier and the strip light around the ceiling. Came out great.

There is nothing more beautiful than to walk towards your bright future with the love of your life, I wanted to portray this idea through the elements I had in my frame, the dark dreamy castle, the beautiful clouds, and the blue sky. It all felt like a painting.

This awesome couple had a beautiful wedding in the old city center of The Hague. The prestigious room where the got married had this big chandelier and large mirror so the moment I walked in the room I knew I had to take a shot with them later that night. Both the wedding couple and I are really happy how it turned out :)

Our lovely couple Nick & Nancy got married at Mattemburgh in Bergen op Zoom, The Netherlands. In their new glasshouse, we saw the possibilities with the light, shadows and this great couple. Thanks for the great day!

As the sun was setting we had the opportunity to get a few last photographs of our couple while they were perched upon a hill. There was a light camera left to bring more emphasis on our bride and we darkened the background ever so slightly in post.

After talking with Ross and Charlotte before the wedding I suggested Confetti Canons for the 1st dance and they worked out he would lift her up as the signal to fire. Worked like a charm.
