Forty-Ninth Collection
Shooting couples in an exotic location is fun. This picture was taken in the Thar desert and we waited for the sunset. It's amazing how this picture came out. We kept in mind the composition, a good composition tells you a good story. A silhouetted photograph with a perfect background and the camel rider with his camel and the couple. The frame was set up so perfectly, we were mesmerized by the beauty of nature and the couple in love meeting together in one picture to show the two things created by God i.e. nature and love. To create a great picture one should keep in mind the angle, composition, light, story, emotions, and creativity.
Photographed at the Pulford Parish Church in Chester. The church has only does a few weddings a year with less than 600 weddings in its 250-year history.
The natural simplicity of this photo is why I chose this one from many that were technically more challenging.
It was nearing the end of the evening, and Andrea and Jared have been hustling all day. The sunset was gorgeous so I approached them to suggest we go for a little walk and enjoy some quiet time. I took a few portraits and then Jared said: โDo you mind if we have a few minutes alone?โ
As I was walking back to the venue I turned around to snap one last photo of them enjoying their first peaceful moment as husband and wife together.
The couple has just married, she is going down the stairs to the exit for the rice throwing and the greetings to friends and relatives.
Wine anyone? Why yes, of course, we will take a whole barrel, but first let's do this first look and enjoy this kiss! Gotta love shooting at a winery in the middle of the city!
This is the combination of different kinds of love, each one demonstrated to a different degree: the love of their profession, the love of their dog Drac and the love of the person that changed their life when they met.
Jordi & Esther are a simple couple who enjoy each day to the maximum.
Just a little kiss for auntie Bride! I took this photo when the kids had to go home, just before dinner started. I thought he was so cute with his little rabbit.
I loved capturing this romantic golden sunset portrait of Amber and Matt in the Lake District. Captured from WallaCrag looking over Derwentwater with the splendor of Catt Bells across the lake.
An incredible view of Lake Leman from Vevey for this Swiss-Russian couple during their wedding. It was so warm that haze formed on the lake.
This one was captured during engagement session of Sanket and Neha amidst the sandstones of Hampi, India. Hampi has a surreal beauty with untouched nature full of paddy fields surrounded by sandstone mountains. After the sunset, when the mood of nature was perfect and when the couple was all mushy and romantic, as a cherry on top for this situation, there was moonrise! What more could I have asked from the Divine as a photographer for a perfectly memorable shot for the couple! I took this shot with Sigma art 20mm lens, just to capture the wider frame of the beauty of that moment.
These scooters are taking over our city streets here in DC so why not put them to good use during an engagement session....especially if you really use them in your day to day commute.
