Twentieth Collection

This photograph was taken at a wedding in Tuscany, Italy. I wanted the light behind the bride and groom to be the same as the colour of the candles in the foreground.

I lived for long time in Japan, this is my best friend Nathalia from Tokyo, we are like sisters and she decided to celebrate her wedding in Italy and i have been honored to be her wedding planner and her photographer.. I wish a wonderful life to Nathalia & Kohei !

This photo is taken at the Kijkduin beach just after the "Golden hour". The sky was cloudy and lit up in different pastel colours like pink and purple. It was also quite cold at the time because of the windy weather. I'm very proud of Chandini and Gilvano for making this shoot so effortlessly beautiful and the best shoot I've ever had.

After the emotional ceremony they wanted a moment for them selves. My choice to stay with the gasts or go out in the rain and make this memory for them. This is the moment the bride spotted me standing in the rain making this photo.

I went to take pictures with this amazing fun couple by a museum. But suddenly my eye fell on a skeleton of wood. The sun was great throughout. So I asked the couple to take place at the end 'cause I knew the lines f the wood in combination with the sun peaking in, it would be an amazing picture! And it did! A special thanks to Martijn and Willemijn, this great couple, for having one of the most fun wedding with! -x-

I love to make memories of little sweet moments at the wedding. The groom loves antique tractors and this Lanz Bulldag (1957) is prepaired (2 years) for his wedding. He drives in the Lanz Bulldag with his love to the ceremony where family and friends are wating. The couple had a great ride and they having fun. That moment I like!

Stopping off on the way from ceremony to reception at a lovely quiet country park, this captures the very essence of wedding day storytelling for me. Two awesome people, doing nothing more than taking a moment to reflect on saying yes.

This cruise ship (the SS Roterdam) is very popular with weddings in the Netherlands, my goal was to create a picture that was not created yet with this ship. On arrival I already saw this staircase, but how to make it even more special? With sunset so! I am very happy with the result.

Tears of happiness!

During the church ceremony the Bride and Groom sharded their deepest emotions with all guests. There was so much love between the both of them, it made the eyes of us photopgraphers moisty too. The picture was taken in Hoorn, the Netherlands.

Renate and Francois promised their eternal love infront of their family and friends at the picturesque farm Kranskop close to a small town called Steytlerville, hidden between the cliffs in the Eastern Cape, South Africa. The couple found this little vintage car called a Morris Minor. It was perfect prop for their vintage themed wedding. This beautiful couple has such a deep love for each other, it was so special to capture this with a gorgeous South African sunset.

This picture was inspired for when I first met Lindsay and she had told me about the dress she had. She is a very confident person and amazing in front of the camera. I wanted to demonstrate her beauty and confidence in this photo.

This is an image taken in a little fishing village called Porthleven in Cornwall,UK. Porthleven is wide open to the raw elements and is famous for its massive waves crashing onto the reefs and pier pictured. On this particular day the winds were howling, this image was captured just before a storm blew in bringing torrential rain for the rest of the day. The storm was so intense that it knocked out all the power to the village for well over an hour, the sound of alarms rang constantly in the travelling wind around Porthleven. The pier was completely empty on this day which is quite rare so the newlyweds battled into the onshore gale and had a moment together to cement their love. I really liked that at the end of the pier is reference to the Christian cross symbolising eternal love.

These what we found a perfect location for these love bird after a long serway for perfect spot just out side our cottage in kerala.
Midnight shot at 1.15am & their love is still shinning same as moon & stars in the sky.

That moment of concentration, just before the big day for this bride would start. In the middel of al her preparations. It was lovely. It became an amazing day!

This picture of Shalab & Eesha taken on a February noon in Mehtab bagh right behind the Taj Mahal on the Yamuna river banks. We wanted to shoot Taj Mahal as a back drop but wanted different look than usual so Shalab took me to this part of the city around noon (yes we were late) and it was a sunny day even. There i saw this beautiful tree and the bench and Taj Mahal as beautiful as ever in the backdrop.

The couple wanted a picture in the Ciutadella park, Barcelona where the bride's parents wedding photo was taken over 25years ago... They wanted to take the picture in the same spot & same pose. As we were walking to the park I've decided to stop Ivan & Desi to take this picture.

Jennifer and James had the most magical wedding in Rigaud, Québec. I always enjoy shooting when it's dark and moody out. It makes for such gorgeous, lush colours.

This photograph of Andy & Sarah was captured at the Manchester Museum - the ball of moths was an art installation by Vivienne Westwood and the skull at the top of the frame is in fact that of a whale - incredible venue! It was lit with a single speedlight so as to cast the moths shadows onto the ceiling and really make it dramatic. These guys were great and were up for anything - dream clients!

The Romance and Emotion of Michelle & Seamus' wedding was captured at Tankardstown House in Ireland.
It is one of the most beautiful wedding venues in Ireland with the gardens as a perfect back drop for romantic wedding photo's.

No, they were not arrested for driving under influence or reckless driving... The bride and groom are both police officers and on their wedding day they were escorted by four policemen on motorbikes. We scouted the route they would drive from the parental house to the wedding venue and found this lovely lawn with the beautiful trees between the bulb fields. I was laying on the ground on the side of the road too get the low point off view and really see the structure off the road in the foreground. Really love this picture.

Our wonderful Bride was a bit worried about all the rain in the forecast for her big day. I wanted to assure her that weather makes for some incredible images and interesting stories. We looked for gaps in the rain during the big day. We would sneak out and get some photos in the sprinkles until it turned into downpour. In a beautiful review she gave shortly after seeing this image. She advised all future brides to hope for rain.

This shot from Mark and Katies wedding was captured at the beautiful St Mary's lighthouse in Whitley bay, Northumberland. Access to the lighthouse is dependant on the tide as there is a small causeway to cross over. All of the elements combined for one of my favourite images from 2014

Mary and Enrique are a couple from Higuera de la Serena, Badajoz, Spain.
We took several pictures in a forest of eucalyptus, then we decided to climb a hill in search of open spaces, the sunset left us a magical light.

They were not afraid to show how much they love each other, that was something i loved about this couple. I still keep an instant photo we took at their wedding and forgot to give it to them.

On September the 9th Andrea & Peter married in Sierndorf in Lower Austria. Nearby the location there was a littel pont where we did the pictures in den sunset. This was our last wedding of an awesome wedding season!

On our way back from Rob and Clare's portrait shoot, I had a gut feeling that Clare's white dress contrasting against the Victorian Easthampstead Park would look cool. So, without saying anything to either of them, I ran out to the field to get this shot! I love the shot and now I always trust my gut feeling!

This Image was taken in the Cathedral Quarter of Belfast with the wonderful Gillian and Michael. They both wanted a natural approach so we just walked around the quarter and came across this wonderful umbrella art installation. The picture pretty much took care of itself after this. it really does pay to be relaxed and natural on the day. John.

This picture is from John and Ali's Wedding that took place in the middle of the picturesque Sussex countryside. Fabulous weather, stunning views, a beautiful sunset and a gorgeous couple, you don't need more than that!

This Picture I think is a great Contrast, to all the romantic and high dramatic Photos we see all the Time at a Wedding!
I enjoy this Style of Weddingphotos, with Fun, Joy, Happyness and mixed with normaly Things in our Life!
Thomas was simply picking up Ulrike at the Shopping Center near the Wedding Location, and together they droved with the Shopping Cart a special Round on the Parking Place....it was so lovely, and they had so much Fun! That´s Life , so much Emotion, nothing prepared for a Shooting....! Spontaneous Doings......I appreciate that!
