it was a rainy day, with strong showers, we almost give up the ideea of finishing this photoshoot. But we had a little brake, and Grunner See is a wonderful place to be after a heavy rain.

Th calm after the storm. It was a moment where the rain let up so we could get out on the lake for some portraits. Canoeing and camping and basically being out in nature is very near and dear to this couples hearts

Walking through the beautiful lush grass in the park, I told them to hold hands and feel comfortable. She said we love holding hands, its one of our favorite things to do. So I captured the very things they love most.

Image taken at Chateau la Durantie, nestled in the Dordogne Valley France. Flight had been cancelled from the uk the day before so I had driven through the night to make my commitment to this bride. So glad it paid off.

This image was taken at Hidden Acres which is an old barn venue in Pennsylvania. I grabbed the couple after dinner, because I loved the way the light was in this spot as the sun was setting. They were excited to have a couple minutes alone as newlyweds and this is how they celebrated.

This photo was without pretense, was a play on the couple and that went very well! The groom was tennis and this not part of the costume, rsrrss.

This is probably the wedding with the most suggestive view I've had in Switzerland! It was a Swiss Mexican wedding in the very famous Villa Honegg hotel in Stans and the moment we arrived to the venue I knew this view had to be part of the story. We waited until the sun was perfect and I called them for 5 minutes during the cocktail hour to take this photo. We had lots of fun taking it and were so impressed by the breathtaking views!

This was the last whot taken during Anne and Pierre-Louis's wedding. They were on the dancefloor, at 2 in the morning, and as I left I realized how beautiful the sky was. I ran to them and explained how cool it would look to have a picture under the milky way. They stopped their dancing and ran under the stars with me. We listened to the grillons and watched the shooting stars. It was magical.

This loveshoot in Botswana I'll never forget. With this giant-trees, the endless silence and most beautiful sunsets.
Take every opportunity to capture love!!

They're happy, they're crazy in love, full of passion and energy, totally at ease in front of my camera, they're having fun, they can't help kissing and touching each other all the time, they're up for any pose I suggest. They don't care that I am there and that's exactly how I like it!
So we're having a stroll by the Léman lake (Switzerland), and here is the boat garage door that I spotted the week before. Behind them a blue and white lively chevron pattern, the lines echoing their laughter and their smiles, in front of them a stunning view on the lake and the Swiss Alps making up for the most romantic scenery. A few rose trees along the way, and further down the way a lonely and romantic bench... Ingredients for a perfect romantic shoot on a perfect day in June.

This photo was taken, with a lovely couple, a lovely view , and when they put their hands on the ass of each others , Soooo funny !!

Love was in the air! Inspired by the movie Casablanca, Haley-Kate's and Rafael's first half of their session was shot during a gorgeous sunrise at an Atlanta Airport with some with World War II airplanes as the background. It was shot with a Canon EOS 5D Mark III with natural light. Can you feel the love?

Alexander and Anastasia very sensual newlyweds. The evening lights are lit Odessa! They create a unique romantic atmosphere for beautiful couple. When these gorgeous bride and groom together as if the world around stops, there comes harmony ...

Nikki & Ed got hitched just as summer was turning to autumn. The trees were beginning to shed their leaves and the fields, once golden and swaying with corn were now cut down completely. I saw this epic backdrop, a rolling hill which went on for as far as the eye could see - and knew instinctively it would be a beautiful place to frame my couple for a portrait shoot. On the way back in Nikki's dress was getting tangled in the corn stalks so Ed (being the true gent) picked her up. It's a legitimate beautiful moment and one I'm proud to have captured.

This photo was taken on the estate Waterland where the couple held their ceremony outside on the beautiful estate. After the ceremony we went out with the beautiful Ford Mustang to Beck Steijn and it made a wonderful report on the hedge and the ponds in the lovely evening sun

This image was taken on a lookout in a forest. It took us nearly two hunderd steps to get to this beautiful spot. It was all worth it!

As a Dutch based photographer I really like the skies we have here. When I saw this look through behind the trees I immediately asked my couple to stand there for a photo. When I got home and saw this photo I had to think of a painting with that typical Dutch feeling.

Katrina & Dustan were such a fantastic couple and I truly enjoyed every moment and day of their beautiful Cabos Mexico wedding! This image was taken towards sunset on a remote island not far from the town that we had to boat out to. It was really beautiful to see this couple embrace the scenery around them for these amazing shots by the beautiful and unique rock formations on the island!

The picture was taken at Stanage Edge in Derbyshire UK. We delayed the engagement shoot by a day to get a better sunset. There were many shots taken on what was a fabulous shoot, but this one stood out, and the second I saw the angle I knew it was a winner!

I have covered a number of weddings this venue but wanted to push myself to take something different, so I walked far away from the couple and just asked them to walk hand in hand. This was taken in the very last few minutes of the evening light.

the challenge here was to find a place with beautiful natural light, a request of the bride. After several attempts i saw this little bush, sitting there in the most wonderful light.

Not easy to convince the managers of these gôndulas to make a walk in search of Occuptional photos, they were against their will, but ta ai .. It was worth it! We left the Brazil in search of a photo in Venice and got this!

Anna and Artem - a great couple from Odessa. This wedding day was fun and noisy, traditionally in this city. Impeccable style newlyweds added elegant motorcade of cars Mecedes Benz. All cars were painted in the color of the groom's tuxedo!

This wedding took place in beautiful Moon Lake Saskatchewan and the couple decided to bring a canoe for some bride & groom photos! This photo did not come without it's challenges as balancing in the canoe was often difficult! I love that we did these shots and we have some great stories and memories about what it took to get this image!

The wedding breakfast room was full of candles and fairylights so I knew that by lighting the couple and underexposing, with all the ambient lights in the room I could create something which looked really different.

This image was made in the Tuscany region, Italy. We searched for hours a sunflower plantation, and at that time was already the end of the bloom .. Luckily we found those that were still open!

In the picture perfect moment expectations. A few seconds later the bride Anna will meet his beloved. Artem groom with his friends already quite close! In the hands of the groom a huge bouquet of roses. Heart of the newlyweds with each step stronger burn!

Nikki and Evan were such a unique and amazing couple! The details and work they put into their wedding day continually amazed me and I love the vintage 50's style that accompanied them. Towards the end of their bride and groom session, we took an old car for a drive and I sat on top of the back seat to get this shot of them driving away together! I love this photo and happy to have the perfect couple to do it with :-)
