Claudia and Claudio got married in an amazing medieval village near Todi in Italy. They enjoyed a romantic solitary moment in the main square when everybody else was having a delicious lunch.
I try and make my portrait shoots as much fun as possible, less about posing and more about the couple being themselves and having a good time. And when a horse is involved and it's having a good time, everyone's having a good time!
James and Giulia just tied the knot on their destination wedding to Umbria (Italy). They took an old car ride to reach the Rosciano Castle and host their aperitivo and dinner.
Have you ever wanted to run away from the world? Newlyweds Catherine and Paul did it! They retired in this beautiful place. Fresh air and the endless beauty of the front! This is the best situation for the tender embrace of two people in love.
This is the first time I've ever stayed right until the end at a wedding.
I had to wait until nearly everyone had drifted away so that the music died down and I was able to communicate with them. I saw the shot the day before when I met them, so it had to be done, and I had to wait but worth it in the end!
postwedding in cadaqués, catalonia, spain.
After a great wedding, they decided to do a post-wedding with touches of sea, in cap de creus and cadaqués. coastal town of the Mediterranean
Lisa and Brian got married in Dublin on New Year's Eve. They were slightly worried when it started to rain. I told them, don't worry, I want you to look at your images and be happy it rained.... They didn't really understand what I meant. Now they do!
Hannah and Craig, killing it on the stairs at the magnificent Durham Castle! Sparklers, before they got 'cool'. Simple lighting - just a single LED panel to the left.. oh, and the guy to the right is the bride's father ;)

It was 20th of August 2016 in Saaremaa, Estonia. While guests were dancing we saw so beautiful colours in the sky and decided to drive few kilometres to the sea before the sun went down. The sunset was amazing. We had many great shots there. I really could not ask for better conditions- people, weather,mood... everything was perfect that day.
The portrait session is the only time of the day when the bride and groom get to spend any time alone, so I like to take them on a bit of adventure, go for a cruise around, catch their breath and take a few snaps before returning to the party.
The bride is from Canada, the groom from Switzerland and they had a beautiful destination wedding at the 5 star hotel The Dolder Grand in Zurich, Switzerland. It was a gorgeous and intimate wedding, as they celebrated with just 35 guests, their closest family and friends. It was such an honor to be part of their special day, one of our most favorite weddings.
Gianluca and Claudia are dancers, lovers and they just got married in a medieval village in Umbria (Italy). What location could be more inspiring than a castle for documenting their love?
The beach is a place that gives you the opportunity to do what you want. David and Llum are considered travellers, and we agree that getting married has been the best start of a trip where they will have to get on the train holding hands and they will be taken to the next station. This photo says it all.
My last wedding in december 2016, early in the morning with a beautiful sunrise in Holland. Cold weather but a lot of love! That is what I love, weddingphotography just timeless and pure.
This particular image created against pure white wall using Color gels to create some dramatic mood . Bridal couple Meha & Joel first met during some dance party some years ago. Their passion for dance brought them together. So I created dance pose to tell their love story in Resort , where reception was taken place.
My love grows stronger for you with every breath I take.

This image was taken at the stunning Colshaw Hall on a cold December day, during the drive up to the venue I saw these tree's and immediately knew I wanted to go out after dark and take this image. It was literally freezing but Rebecca and Richard were troopers and withstood the cold temperatures to try something a bit different.
The hill, the sea behind, the perfect couple. I told them to climb to the top of a small hill and forget about me...simply enjoy each other. It's times like this that I get lost in a photo and truly feel the love radiating from them and it reminds me why I love what I do so much and feel very blessed indeed.
This stunning setting was perfect for a timeless bridal set. This series shows off in the most subtle ways the smallest of the bridal details. such as the bouquet, veil, and gown.

This photo was probably the most challenging of my career so far. The bride had expressed her want for one last shot before the night was over. I suggested we shoot in front of the Hindu temple where the ceremony was held at. Unfortunately after several delays the temple shut down all of the lighting creating a near pitch black environment. I told the bride that we would not be able to get her shot because of nature of the environment. The look of disappointment in her eyes made me reconsider. I grabbed every speedlight me and my assistant had and setup a 5 light shot using only cell phone led lights to see in the dark. After a few test shots I brought the bride and groom out, posed them, and captured this beautiful image of my brides piercing incredible eyes.

Portraits from Eilis and Calum's summer wedding in North Yorkshire, Uk. A couple full of laughter and fun! In this time I wanted to create a set of images which replicated how much fun and love sparked from this wonderful couple.
The weather was great, groom and bride having so much fun ready to tie the knot on the way to the chapel. Just a candid moment captured in time. The conversation they had I don't know, but the picture tells the story of their history and love for each other.
It was raining almost all day long. Only for a few times the sun came out and the street was steaming. We stopped on the way to the location and took some photos while a few drops of rain fell on those two trees, which protects the shelter they were hiding in.
Love the colors and the pure nature in this.
Love this spontaneous confetti fight at Hengrave Hall, wonderful wedding.................................................................................

Haley-Kate and Rafael's engagement session began at the Georgia Aquarium where this soccer player had proposed to his Atlanta Falcon cheerleader girlfriend. It wasn't long before the clouds began rolling in and just as they were finishing volleying his soccer ball back and forth, the thunder made its presence known. Nothing could stop these two from enjoying every last minute of their afternoon together though and this steamy shot was the result!

Taken at the beautiful Halstead House at the wedding of Lucy & Mark. These guys were totally in love and allowed me to take them out for a couple of portrait runs in between capturing some amazing moments of their day. We did some creative shots with flashes, fairly lights and even managed to get them out when the rain started, but this particular image was so simple and used nothing but natural light and it really captured their love story.
Sometimes you never know what you'll find unless you venture out into the unknown. That's how this image was captured. A short walk along a path near the wedding venue we found this bridge and this is what we got. Classic and timeless; just like the love shared between the couple.
The wedding of Johnathan + Richelle, a really lovely relaxed and fun couple. We were on our way from the church to the reception venue and seen this beautiful field, so decided to stop for a shot, the crops were the perfect height for the veil to sit on and allow a strong composition.
The story with this photo is simple. It was long after the ceremony and family formals and it had grown ominous outside as the rain started coming in. But the reception had started and dancing was crazy, but as soon as I saw the rain, I looked at Olivia (the bride) and said "Do you want to take a rain photo!?!" she said Yes!!! very excitedly. I exposed for the sky and used the 16mm to get the building fully in the back and pumped in the flash from behind to freeze the rain :)

This picture was taken in a former church in the Netherlands. You can hire the church for events or a foto shoot. This scenery was at the back of the church and is in use for storage. But the incoming light of the doors and windows made this special.

Shot at the beautiful Kimberley Hall in Norfolk, we'd captured a few more "traditional" Bridal Party photos making the most of the incredible skies & georgous view before the someone suggested jumping to get down from the wall.
Think it's probably safe to say that Rosie & her bridesmaids were not quite as up for it as Ben & his groomsmen, but an absolutely sterling effort was made by all! Works for me :)
During the wedding of Deborah and Youri there was a nice lawn and tree. Here we have used during their photo shoot.Fortunately the weather gods were on our side!
This amazing scene was after a mad dash from Jane and Ben's beautiful countryside wedding. I had noticed the sky was changing so advised them to "go for it" if they wanted something special. As we drove up to the stunning Wenlock Edge in south Shropshire I asked Jane and Ben to walk on ahead, concious that time, and with it mother nature's display, was slipping away. As I turned I saw this scene....asking Jane and Ben to face each other and the image was born.
We captured this image of our bride and groom on the grand staircase of Peel Manor House, just south of Perth in Western Australia. We love that the black and white adds to the old world charm of the staircase. The shot was made extra fun as it was captured whilst the guests all watched as the staircase is in full view from the reception seating. Needless to say, our bride LOVES this image - and so do we.
I knew the shot I wanted at an instant when I saw this staircase, the framing was just beautiful. Ceyda and Chris looked so good together and needed next to no direction when we took this picture.

When I was asked to photograph Clare and Nick's wedding, I knew it was going to be a little bit different! Coming all the way from Australia to be with Clare's family in Norwich, she wanted an unobtrusive style shoot to capture the day as it unfolded.
I got a moment to get them both together and as they both have an amazing sense of humour, it was lovely to have a laugh with them.
Nick is a little more subtle in his approach at being the subject of a photoshoot, whereas Clare is a seasoned dancer and model so literally launched straight into full on showgirl mode haha.
An amazing couple at an amazing wedding day! Xx
This shot was taken on a freezing cold December day in Windsor, U.K. As I was driving I noticed a spooky blanket of fog in the field and couldn't miss the opportunity. We all hopped over the fence to get some shots and as Jay & Tim walked into the fog, everything came together...

Emi & John’s wedding in the Amalfi Coast was special for so many reasons. Emi wanted some portraits to which she would be able to remember the feeling of not only her day but also the location. As we walked the streets of Ravello high up in the mountains looking over Amalfi I noticed this stunning view. The other side of that wall is a sheer drop! But Emi & John were more than keen to take up pose and frame this perfect view.
Wow, my 9th Wedisson award!
This was just one part of what was an amazing day, working for a couple that rub shoulders with Royalty.
A simple organised confetti throw, but I guess big smiles and big cheers help make it a little more special!
In the photo the couple from Odessa Olga and Alexei. This image was shot in January 2017. The city is decorated with Christmas lights. This creates a unique fairy-tale atmosphere!

A gorgeous sunset at the Isla Gladstone Conservatory in Liverpool for Michael & Michelle's spectacular wedding. This was one of the last photographs of the day, just after the first dance as the sun went down and left us with such a gorgeous backdrop.
Alice and Marco, a young , beautiful italian couple went to Maldives to get married!
I've been more than happy to be there to capture all the moments of this amazing wedding.

Life is better with friends.... All these girls were very special to the bride, so she wanted them all to be a part of the getting ready. They all helped to close a few of the tiny buttons on the bride's beautiful dress.
It was about to rain, they could not make the launching of balloons that they wanted since it was going to cover the area of treat (at first it was outdoors).
for them it was very important, so I decided to take a picture of them with the balloons, and to be able to, that was fun ... so my most iconic photo was born so far.
