Hi, I'm Matt
Being a couple's photographer of choice for their big day is something very special.
It is a privilege.
My mission is to repay my client's trust by producing images that are timeless and that evoke laughter and tears for all the right reasons, now and for the generations to come. That comes from careful planning, proper listening and attention to detail – and being able to spot those moments of pure magic!
My style is fun, relaxed & natural.
Winning photos
I love finding a new venue, especially one as stunning as Cheswell Grange in Shropshire. Isobel and her bridesmaids getting ready for the ceremony at the lakeside barn.
115th CollectionA long exposure image at Emily & Joe's wedding at the stunning Oakfield at Chester Zoo.
115th CollectionBeautiful sunset at Heaton House Farm.
115th CollectionBeautiful window views at Heaton House Farm.
115th CollectionLaurie & Adam, I do love a military wedding.
115th CollectionAn unexpected dip after Jing & Dan's ceremony in the wild Snowdonia mountains.
115th CollectionAbbie & Alastair enjoying one of the follies at the stunning Delamere Manor.
115th CollectionBritt & Josh celebrating beside the beautiful and iconic sycamore tree at Heaton House Farm at sunset. Britt & Josh actually left their wedding breakfast when they saw how stunning the light was outside.
115th CollectionGroomsmen Jumping for joy at Cheswell Grange. I always enjoy having a laugh with the groomsmen, there are so many shots you can have fun with. This is how I see photography, it should be loads of FUN!!!
114th CollectionIsobel & Sam enjoying their champagne shower at the stunning Cheswell Grange.
114th CollectionMore waste of good champagne!!
113th CollectionOne of my favorite places, Liverpool Water Front was the perfect place for Katie & Tim's pre wedding shoot. I'd had a recent clear out of champagne so this was a nice surprise for them. Just out of frame is my 12 year old son holding the boom and light, lighting the couple. He's wearing a poncho and is absolutely soaked!!!
113th CollectionRuncorn Town Hall is such a lovely building, This was a very obvious shot with Olivia & Shaun.
113th CollectionI've always loved a dramatic and atmospheric image, with the help of my lighting assistant Oliver my 12 year old Son, we created this moody shot at Talacre sand dunes.
113th CollectionA regular location for a pre wedding shoot. Talacre has wonderful sand dunes, making great leading lines. I love to hide the lighthouse a little, so it isn't too prominent in the image, but still visible. Making Lorraine & Tim obviously the subject.
Can't beat the light here!!
Anna & Jamie chose not to live it up on their first dance!!!
A fantastic wedding at the awesome Titanic Hotel Liverpool
