Studio Name

Bianca's Blik

My name is Bianca, I am 31 years old, and besides being a photographer, I am also a medical doctor. Because I know the sickness and sadness that can occur in peoples lives, I truly want to capture those beautiful and emotional moments as memories to last forever. I would describe my photography style as a romantic documentary. I capture the moments that are there, to create meaningful memories.

When you just got married in a beautiful old townhouse, and all your dearest friends and family welcome you as newlyweds outside! Pure moment of hapiness!

Simplicity. It is an element I always try to capture. Very often the bride and groom are busy during the day with the guests, and don't have much time for eachother. Frequently the wedding reportage is the first moment of the day where the bride and groom can have a precious moment together. That's why the start of every wedding reportage with me starts with simplicity: just take some time together. Walk away from me, talk to one another, kiss and hug, whatever you feel or need. It brings out the purest moments, and I love capturing these delicate moments. Add a beach and golden hour, and nothing more is needed for a stunning image.

To get the best view as a photographer, sometimes you need to get low, and I mean really low. My back was hugging the floor, but it was worth the shot ;) The groom and his friends wanted a group picture. When almost all the men were together in a line, the last one finally arrived with beers for everyone ofcourse. When I saw the beers, I immedeatly knew I wanted to make this picture. We first made a normal group photo, and then I just went down to the floor, and ofcourse they started laughing. Man down! Tadaa, a spontaneous and happy photo, cheers!

Bridesmaids...I do love them. And these two had the most fancy matching dresses with jackets and even shining shoes. And did they like it? They loved being in the centre of attention, which is clearly visible in this picture. The bride and groom did not mind to share the attention with these two lovely girls, admiring them in the background as the girls lead them the way to the ceremony.

Oh my, made my heart a little jump when we arrived at the photoshoot location for the wedding reportage. This lovely couple spotted the location themselves, a few minutes by Car from their home. They made pictures of the location months before the wedding and asked for my approval. Already it was a stunning location, but man what a surprise when we saw all the white flowers that popped up out of nowhere on the day of the wedding . I was one very lucky photographer, and this precisely is why spring is my favorite season. The challenge: to catch the dreamy atmosphere. I would say mission accomplished.

I am going to be the wedding photographer of this lovely couple. They also decided to book a pre-wedding/engagement shoot, as the period before the wedding is also very exciting and special. The location of the photoshoot is where they will exchange vows and become husband and wife, so romantic!
I personally love sunflares in photo's, and I on purpuse used some flare to create a dreamy and romantic atmosphere.

This is a true documentary shot. Nothing is staged, and it took a split second decision to take this photo. At this wedding there were three stunning bridesmaids, and they truly lived up to their roles. The bride and groom drove, together with the bridesmaids, in a beautiful oldtimer to the church and parked the car right in front of the church. When two of the bridesmaids went to check out the car, I did not hesitate to capture this photo. Light was harsh, but it creates the beautiful contrast between the white dresses and the car.

We planned the wedding reportage in the late afternoon, after the church ceremony and before dinner. Because the wedding was mid-September, the sun was already quite low and shining through the trees. The light was so beautiful that day, and the touch of smoke gives the photo a little extra magic. Their love truly radiates in this photo.
