My name is Bianca, I am 33 years old, and besides being a photographer, I am also a medical doctor. Because I know the sickness and sadness that can occur in peoples lives, I truly want to capture those beautiful and emotional moments as memories to last forever. I would describe my photography style as a romantic documentary. I capture the moments that are there, to create meaningful memories.
Winning photos
This beautiful couple got married in Utrecht. At first, we would shoot the wedding reportage at the wedding venue. But because of very heavy rain in the morning, the natural surroundings of the venue were quite muddy. Therefore we decided to change the location, and went into the city centre instead.
I wanted to capture the beautiful city of Utrecht, where they live, together with them as newlyweds.
It is a classic shot, one that has quite some popularity at the moment, so I definetly wanted to create one. The upside-down V-shape in the photo gives it a little extra, leading your eyes towards the couple.
101st CollectionThey said Yes! I always love the ceremony-exit photo, there is always so much joy! My task was to capture the (frequently very) short moment of time, to create a memory to last forever.
101st CollectionThis beautiful couple got married in Utrecht. At first, we would shoot the wedding reportage at the wedding venue. But because of very heavy rain in the morning, the natural surroundings of the venue were quite muddy. Therefore we decided to change the location, and went into the city centre instead. These arches are famous for a reason, so we had to shoot there. Stunning images: check.
101st CollectionWe planned the wedding reportage in the nearby forest in the evening after dinner, and we were gifted with a beautiful sun that day. The forest created a beautiful display of shadows and a ray of sunlight, in which I positioned the couple to create this fairy tale like image.
100th CollectionThis couple got married at the industrial site Strijp-S. It is a famous area in Eindhoven city (where I live), and the architecture of the buildings is very cool. I knew i wanted to capture this photo, I had it in my head before the wedding, and it turned out so cool! It's all about using the environment to create stunning shots. Nothing more.
99th CollectionThe bride and groom made a playlist which was played in the background during dinner. It was a lovely dinner with great food and speeches from family and friends. However, at one point a particular song came on, and everybody knew: this was a cue to get wild. Nobody hesitated and started to swing their handkerchiefs up in the air. I wanted to capture the choas (the other picture) but also the greatness of the atmosphere. I climbed up another table to get a higher and wider shot to catch the overview of it all.

However, at one point a particular song came on, and everybody knew: this was a cue to get wild. Nobody hesitated and started to swing their handkerchiefs up in the air. I wanted the greatness of the atmosphere (other picture) but also the choas in the midst of it. Not without any risk of getting hit, I positioned myself amoungst the choas, and succes!
99th CollectionThis was the first pre-wedding shoot of the 2023 season for me. F&N are getting married this september. We planned a shoot in the evening in the woods near their home. All you need is good vibes and a little bit of sunshine.
98th CollectionFred Astaire and Ginger Roger vibes! The sun and the forest together created a beautiful light and shadow pattern, almost like the effect of a disco ball. I decided to let them dance in the spot, and the light just beautifully surrounds them.
96th CollectionThat moment when you just got married, and walk down the aisle for the first time as man and wife. The wedding was in the beautiful Dutch Castle of Maurick, where the ceremony was held in the orangery. An orangery is a room or a building on the grounds of larger residences in Europe in the 17th to 19th centuries. It's basicly a fancy greenhouse where plants and crops where protected during the winter. Nowadays it functions as a stunning venue, where the atmosphere and the light is simply breathtaking for your wedding.
95th CollectionAgain, simplicity. Sometimes it is all you need. After the ceremony and reception, I took the bride and groom for a short photography break. With this moment, I wanted to create a moment for the bride and groom to breathe during an exciting day. And this place was perfect for that: A nice old tree-swing to sit on with a stunning view, and eachother. That's what I love to capture mostly. I love how the simplicity enhances the connection between the bride and groom.
92nd CollectionThis is the kind of picture you can only make when you are shooting a wedding at a castle with stunning high windows and old fashioned curtains.
Every wedding location has its own photogenic characteristics, but castles are the cherry on the cake if you ask me.
So brides, if you want these kind of pictures, choose your wedding location wisely ????
Oh this photo is one of my favorites. The kiss! It is such a special moment, where I truly want to capture the moment in all its beauty. But, when you organise a wedding at a public beach, not only your guest appear to be the audience. The beachguests made sure to position their sunbeds in the correct position, so they could also catch a glimps of this special moment. It was such a great and fun atmosphere, that I wanted to capture it all in one photo.
91st CollectionThe look on this little mans face tells the entire story. Staring down at this beautiful and tasty cake, who wouldn't want another piece of that wedding cake?
91st CollectionThis photo was taken during a pre-wedding shoot. The couple wanted to include their dog in the photo's as he was an essential member of the family. When we were planning the shoot, the couple mentioned they wanted to take pictures in the forest/park where they always walked the dog. I was surprised by this stunning location. In combination with a stunning sundown, it gave me Jane Austin kind of vibes. Therefore, I wanted to give the photo a classic feel, as if it could be a painting.
91st CollectionThe old city centre of Tilburg is very charming and pretty, and it was the perfect choice for the wedding shoot for J&A. As wedding car they had this old cute little fiat 500 oldtimer, which was all dressed up with flowers and a basket. It was a perfect match with the old buildings, and I had nothing left to do than to captur this beautiful scene.
90th CollectionWhen you just got married in a beautiful old townhouse, and all your dearest friends and family welcome you as newlyweds outside! Pure moment of hapiness!
89th CollectionSimplicity. It is an element I always try to capture. Very often the bride and groom are busy during the day with the guests, and don't have much time for eachother. Frequently the wedding reportage is the first moment of the day where the bride and groom can have a precious moment together. That's why the start of every wedding reportage with me starts with simplicity: just take some time together. Walk away from me, talk to one another, kiss and hug, whatever you feel or need. It brings out the purest moments, and I love capturing these delicate moments. Add a beach and golden hour, and nothing more is needed for a stunning image.
88th CollectionTo get the best view as a photographer, sometimes you need to get low, and I mean really low. My back was hugging the floor, but it was worth the shot ;) The groom and his friends wanted a group picture. When almost all the men were together in a line, the last one finally arrived with beers for everyone ofcourse. When I saw the beers, I immedeatly knew I wanted to make this picture. We first made a normal group photo, and then I just went down to the floor, and ofcourse they started laughing. Man down! Tadaa, a spontaneous and happy photo, cheers!
