This is a special image taken of Corrin Stellakis (Miss New York Earth United States) of Syracuse NY & Tyler Eddy (Personal Trainer & Firefighter in the National Guard) of Mesa, AZ. This image is so special to Corrin because she has grown up on a horse farm and is a very accomplished rider. Sharing this moment with her love, Tyler and her horse, Sonnet. Here is their love story written by each other. Grab a tissue and read how God brought these two together when they live so far apart.
Tylers Love Story:
What is love? A feeling, an emotion, a response, hormones, a hole to fall into? …no…love is more than any of that. Its a journey. A story. And here’s mine.

Growing up, I lived a simple life; something our culture has lost amidst the thirst for simplicity. My day consisted of well structured education from my mother (I was homeschooled) and as soon as the tasks for the day were completed, my brother and I would head to the ponds beside our house and spend hours, catching, identifying and recording various indigenous, ectothermic specimens. We aspired to be the next Crocodile Hunters.

Time went on, Jr High, became High school, High school became a diploma, and a diploma became opportunity. I used that opportunity and joined the US Army. I joined as a firefighter, and spent a number of months traveling the country getting trained in both combat, and fire suppression. Upon my return home, my current girlfriend and I decided we were not meant for each other and broke up after a year.

I enjoyed my independence, both from relationship, and the meticulous studies of school. I worked in various fields, favoring physical labor, and skilled customized wood crafting. I met many people, but most had three things in common with me. They were rough by nature. They were hard workers, married to their job. And they were men. Long story short, I knew I wouldn’t be starting a family with any of them.

Because of my testosterone filled social circle and busy schedule (not to mention, the state I resided in had more head of cattle per capita than humans) I decided to try dating websites. You’ve heard of them, Tinder, Hot or Not, Plenty of Fish, Zoosk, Farmers Only… I figured, I would toss the proverbial net out there and see what turned up. I met many individuals, but none that significantly stuck out. Corrin was one of these. She was beautiful, had a profile that was put together well, and seemed very accomplished. She was what we could call “my type”. Brunette, left handed, booty, mature, 40/20 vision, God fearing…the list goes on.

I connected with her; after we started messaging each other, we realized there was a 2,000 mile problem. Our homes. We lived almost as far apart as the Country allows. Realizing the enormity of the dilemma, we turned our attention elsewhere and tried not to let our minds wander about what could have been.

I ended up dating casually and talking with more localized matches, while Corrin continued to day dream regularly about the mysterious hero in Arizona. A number of weeks later, Corrin finally could not stay quiet any longer, and she used my adorable german shepherd puppy I had recently gotten as a median to strike up conversation.

Okay, truth is, I was a simple man, with not much to offer a gorgeous model, pageant queen, public speaking piece of perfection like Corrin. Talk about the complete package. I started talking with her more regularly and gave my puppy extra milk bones for bringing us back together.

We had the cloud of distance hanging over us and decided to just get to know each other and see what happened. Our relationship was like quicksand- the more time we spent together, the deeper we got. We facetimed, called, texted, and emailed. My childhood friend heard all about her from me and I even told my parents about her so you know it was getting serious.

No matter how crazy my day was or how wild my life got here in Arizona, I had a beautiful confidant waiting for me to get home (even though she was 3 hours ahead in time) and let me vent. We grew close and since I hadn’t been comfortable enough to open up and be honest with people I had only dated a few times, she became the most important woman in my life.

I finally saw the need to visit her in person and spent a week with her family in New York. It was a wonderful experience and led to her coming down to spend time with me and be introduced to my life. The rest is history. Every couple of months, either her or I fly 6 hours one way to spend a few precious days with one another, and we spend the time in between reminiscing about our last visit and counting down the days to the next.

I guess there is no exact definition for love. It depends on the individual, on the story. But I have my own definition…I even have a synonym: Corrin. She embodies the most caring, patient, loyal, empowering facets of love and I’ll never be complete without her. She’s my everything, forever and always.

Corrin's Love Story:

“Oh...he is cute, and he has a puppy in the picture. Bonus points! But, how do I have his snapchat? I know I have seem him somewhere before. Oh my gosh, this is the guy from that dating site I tried that time. How did I forget about him? Oh yeah...he is from Arizona... that is so far! But he is so handsome! It wouldn't hurt to message him, you know, see if he remembers me.”
And that is how it all started! He remembered me. I can still recall his first text, “Of course! You’re the gorgeous girl from New York.”
And so it began. You know how this goes. Snapchats, messages, tagging each other in posts on Facebook, face timing for hours on end, those night long phone calls, wondering why he wasn't texting me back, and then getting butterflies as soon as he did. Those long distance relationship. They are rough, but you do communicate well, and you can learn a lot about a person when all you can do is talk.
I absolutely fell in love with the way that he carried on a conversation, and how he could do so many different accents, and his dorky reenactments of The Lord of the Rings, and how we dreamed together, and how hard of a worker he was. The single thing that I admired most about him though was his faith, and his desire to fulfill his life’s purpose.
Months went on, and we finally were able to meet in person. He bought his tickets, and was flying to New York in the beginning of July. I stood waiting in the airport for him to walk through the gates. I was filled will nerves and excitement! What would It be like to finally meet him? Would he look the same in person? What if there is no chemistry? And then I saw him. His gold tinsel hair, his big beautiful hazel eyes, his strong stature, his white smile, and adorable dimples. He walked up to me as I ran up to him, and dropping his bag in one swift move he
embraced me for the fist time. He was perfect. Everything that I had been waiting for these past few months.
I have replayed that moment in my mind over and over again! Sometimes its the only thing that gets me though the long months of not seeing one another.
Tyler, and I visit each other as much as we can. The last hour of our visits are heart wrenching, and its as if I can feel the seconds tick by. Letting go when its time to step through security is always the hardest part, but its never a goodbye. It’s an “Ill see you later.” People always ask me if its worth it, and nobody ever believes it could really last. Tyler and I are so blessed to have found each other, and to have such a strong love. We have gone through our fair share of ups and downs, but we have always come out stronger. Our love is extraordinary.
So we end up here. Outfit changes, looking into each others eyes, laughing, falling on slippery rocks, laughing some more, and making more wonderful life long memories with every photo taken. Thank you Betsy Duell Snyder (Simply Time Photography) for being a part of our love story.
Assaf & Stephanie came from Beirut to Lake Como to celebrate their very joyful destination wedding. We had a fun boat ride in between the ceremony and the party and I came up with this image, which clearly represents the beauty of this area and what a great time they were having.

Amélie & Nicolas got married on a gloomy day of June, in an amazing castle, with their closest friends and family. We headed to the woods nearby for their wedding pictures and we stood there, in the shadow of the trees, and listened to the birds chirping. It was an amazing day.

This bridal party was so much fun getting ready! I hung out with these ladies at a bed & breakfast while they got ready for the wedding. The bed and breakfast had this gorgeous backyard. I said "Let's have some fun before we have to get all serious in an hour!" I grabbed the pottle of champagne and told her to shake it as hard as she can, and we got this incredible explosion of bubbles.
What can I say, I would do this wedding over and over again. From getting ready till dancing in the evening - this wedding rocked. The couple was great fun throughout the day. The reception and party took place at her parents house garden and this photo was taken in the summerhouse.

We loved the night in Dubai after the wedding, where Gerard and Rosanna were part of a unique experience. They are a travelling couple and their purpose is to enjoy life and keeping the best memories, always to be remembered in their photos, where without a doubt, they are enjoying their best days.
This picture was taken in a former church from 1857 in Utrecht the Netherlands.
The scenery was taken at the upper floor from the building. The original ornaments were still there and the light was stunning. A great scenery for the perfect bridal shoot.

This couple choose to do their pre wedding shoot in a beautiful place in the Southern of the Netherlands. We have to do a little survival trip to reach this place and it feels that the space in the rocks was made for them

We drove down to Kodaikanal, where we came across the pine forest. I must say, it was a hard climb to get to this spot and we were all pretty exhausted. Surrealism met reality here and then I photographed the lovely couple. All I can say finally is that the drive was worth it.

This was a littel moment before the " big day" was beginning... with the lovely bride and her daughter, she was looking at me when I took this picture and it was a special moment for all of us I think.

"Life's a lot more fun when you aren't responsible for your actions.” ― Bill Watterson, The Complete Calvin and Hobbes
This was the concept for this couple. And putting in the middle of a street in a cardboard box – also called time machine – was the right thing for their day!

There are always so many people in City Hall that I thought I wouldn't have much freedom. All of a sudden the space became empty and I was able to play around with my couple for a long time.

This photo is from a recent wedding at Ashore Hill in Warwickshire back in July. On a beautiful summers day, I asked the bride & groom to just be themselves, go for a walk and I manage to get this picture of them hand in hand walking and enjoy the evening sun.

A great shot in B&W of them just being themselves.

...this terrific couple, Emanuel and Steffi, had told us before their wedding, that one of them rode a Harley and the other a Vespa. Guess who I assumed to be the Harley rider ;-) Naturally, after those two had set us straight, we just had to take this picture during their wedding shoot!

I love the little moments of calm and downtime on the wedding day. one of my favourite's is just after the wedding breakfast and before the first dance, it's relaxed. I took Anjuli & Ollie off for some early evening portraits, just as the light got scrummy :) We headed out onto a rickety bridge and soaked up the last of the light, only a stones throw from their marquee behind. I particularly love this moment, it's real. Legitimate - and it shows the beautiful connection that they had for each other.

This beautiful wedding couple had a stunning reception venue which had the looks of an old barn. The ambiance of the light works perfectly with the idea I had in mind. The warm light of the lamps guides you to the wedding couple in the centre of the photo.
