When we organized this session in Paris with Agnes and Jonathan, Agnes who’s also wedding photographer, asked me if I could build a few images with slow shutter, like I did with bikers or peoples in the street on other pictures I shared on my blog. Since we were in Paris, I thought to the subway and she said me that there was a subway station who was more pretty than others. So we went in and I asked them to make hugs on the subway platform. Then I went on the other side of the railway and we waited for the train. I had prepared my camera and now I had to be on the good height to capture them trough the train’s windows… I shot several time with high cadence and when the subway stopped, I found this picture that I was glad to offer them.
When the bride already started putting on her tight sleeved lace top, she realized she forgot her deodorant, but couldn’t reach her armpits herself anymore. Hilarious moment!
What a great day we had in February in ‘s-Hertogenbosch, The Netherlands. It was a cold and windy day, but the skies were great. On the moment we took this picture the sun was there for only a couple of minutes. The love story of this wedding couple is very special. They have so many stories and memories about the relationship. One of their lovely stories is the proposal. The groom asked his bride on this spot on a very special way. Because this marriage was intimate and small with only their family, you feel the love every minute. Their love story will be continuing with so many new memories. I feel very special that I could capture this moment.
We were almost to the end of our photoshoot with Sheldon and Justina, when, they pulled out their wish lantern and wanted to get a few shots of them releasing it into the evening sky. I had never shot anyone with a wish lantern before, so me it was completely new.
As soon as their lantern was almost ready to release I asked the couple to gently lean in for a kiss under the lantern, and whoa, that's the result I got was amazing, the background sky looked just like a painting to me and created such a romantic moment for the two of them, with the play of the light and shadow.
We love this image, captured in the back of our couple's wedding car, a beautiful old Jag from Belle Limousines in Perth, Western Australia. The bride and groom chose the beautiful Brookleigh Estate for their wedding, a stunning equestrian venue, you can see some of the paddocks in the background. The limo driver was very accommodating when we asked if we could take this shot from the driver's seat. The shot is very natural, the bride loved 'putting her feet' for a bit.
We love these special moments. Zane & Jennifer are so in love and watching their first dance as husband and wife was beautiful. The room faded away and the music played, and between wiping the tears from our eyes we grabbed this picture of the room and the couple.
We had just finished our First Look photos with the bride and groom and were waiting for the ceremony. The bride was sitting in the shadows of the window and the groom was off in the distance and was holding the bride's bouquet. I loved how the shadows of the giant window was playing off both of them creating this silhouette. So I asked the groom to walk towards the bride and just do whatever came naturally – of course he kissed her. I did not expect him to place the flowers behind his back, but it made the image perfect!
Venues and our local historic building, The Hycroft Manor is just lovely. Not just the building itself but also the plantation around it! We were luck to have found this set of stairs under the two over shadowing trees. Under these trees the couple kissed and it is beautiful!
Usually, when it rains on a wedding day, we can usually find a few minutes of clear skies sometime throughout the day for some photos outside. Not this day.
After sunset, we went out into an adjacent field and used an umbrella to keep relatively dry while my assistant placed the flash and we did a few test shots. We counted down from 5 and my assistant grabbed the umbrella from them as close to zero as possible.
We were soaked. Even the bride and groom.
But... totally worth it!
To set off a new journey of life, they bought a new ride and took this photo as reminder. When grow older, this photo will bring back memories of their trip as well as time they spend together.
Tim and Cornelia is one of the most loving and genuine couples I've even got to work with! After meeting them, I knew I wanted to go an extra mile and create an epic engagement session! I was absolutely stun when I saw this thick layer of fog when we arrived at the location! It was breathtaking!
This wedding was filled with touching moments from start to finish, but this image holds a lot of sentiment for me. Just before the ceremony, the family waited in the changing room with the bride. Everything was hushed. Daniella stood right in front of this full-length mirror and didn't even think twice about fussing with her hair or makeup. Of course she looked radiant, but she spent those last few minutes before marriage focused on her family. Dad had just wished her good luck, and it was mom's turn. She and mom couldn't let each other go. They held hands. And following ancient Jewish tradition, mom blessed Daniella with a peaceful and everlasting happiness in marriage. Every wedding I shoot is memorable, but this moment is unforgettable.
This wedding was at the wonderful castle Groeneveld near Baarn, a village in the centre of the Netherlands. The wedding day was amazing and before the ceremony we took the wedding couple Eva and Frank for a romantic weddingshoot in the castle gardens. It was a sunny day and the light was beautiful with a nice reflection in the water.
This was a lovely wedding on the end of the summer, on one of the islands in the north of the Netherlands, Texel. The weather was lovely, really sunny and still a nice temperature.
They preferred just a short shoot in the dunes after the ceremony in a little church, first with their little toddler (how cute he was!) and then together. We had like 10 minutes to shoot and the light was magical.
The couple decided to go to the location of the shoot by Solex, with a double seat. Very special! On a little hill they stopped, and I was able to make this picture.
This was a cold, outdoor winter wedding in the middle of December at Arrowhead Golf Club in Roxborough, Colorado. During the ceremony snow clouds moved in and a light dusting started to fall- it was beautiful! But certainly cold. The clouds blanketed the area, and at sunset after the ceremony we headed to this spot for a few portrait photos. The result was a moody winter scene and I was absolutely floored with this image!
This shot was taken at the very end of this beautiful couple Engagement Session. We were leading back when I spotted a nice small wall and decided to quickly pose the couple on it and take advantage of the glowing sunset sinking slowly into the mountains. It seems that it is always at the end of a couple session that the best photos are taken.
This picture was taken in an old Philips building in Eindhoven, The Netherlands, were Philips was founded. At the moment this building is in use by designers whom make very cool furniture and art pieces.
The top floor is filled with hudge art pieces and lighting. The mega cubicle is made of glass and steel. In the big box there are several big wooden objects. Some parts of the floor are also glass and i placed the wedding couple in a way that several levels of the cubicle can be seen.
This couple was such a lovely couple, and they loved me trying out new things. This picture is the result of it.
This picture was taken during a beautiful international summer wedding at Daelenbroeck Castle in Herten (Limburg).
The green bicycle we borrowed from the cook of the hotel. Bride is had a beautiful smile she showed all day.I had lots of fun with this spontaneous happy Dutch couple.
This picture was taken at the wedding of René en Rianneke who got married early 2015. They had such a great time and enjoyed every minute of their wedding day (how it should be : ) We just finished the portrait session and walked back to the wedding venue as I noticed the reflection in the mirror of the bridge. I ran forward and told René and Rianneke to keep walking and enjoy each other. A quick look at each other and there it is.
This picture is taken in Oye-Oersta in the west coast of Norway Actually, this was taken after our photoshoot. We took some pictures of the bride and groom standing both beside and inside the wedding car. We were on our way to the Union Hotel where the celebration was taking place- and the bride just laughed at me while she pinched the groom. A in the moment shot that radiates love and happiness.
This picture is taken in Oye- Oersta in the west coast of Norway. I had a great day with this amazing couple. The photoshoot was filled with laugher and joy from beginning to end. We did several shoots in the area with majestic fjords and mountains. This is a picture that symbolizes the married couple, love laughter and happiness. It makes me grateful to be a part of it.
This photograph was captured in the village in Portugal. We took advantage of the last rays of light to create that romantic atmosphere that enveloped them.
This photo was taken in Hawaii, with Celeste and Peter. These two snuck away to Hawaii where they used to live, and got married secretly. We spent ten days adventuring around Hawaii shooting them. This was taken under a popular Banyan tree on a hike we went on.
This photo was taken in a pine tree forest in San Jose de Ocoa, Dominican Republic. It was such a peaceful place that Katrina & Alejandro just connected with the sounds of nature, and forgot we were there. They just stared at each other while we captured their love. Alejandro then decided it was the perfect time to give her her anniversary gift (wich was the day after the shoot) so that moment turned into a strong memory they'll never forget.
Katrina & Alejandro: "This photoshoo was like having a date with our feelings, letting flow our inner self without saying a word. Talking with our eyes, feeling the touch of our skin, holding hands and walking confident of each other. It was an amazing experience to have you two as photographers, because you know what is real love, and you can feel it as intense as we do."
This photo was taken during the bride’s bridal session. She was so nervous that the shot would turn out well but in the end, she trusted me. Then we couldn’t get the fog contained enough and the LED lights weren't powerful enough. Of course right? A little quick thinking and I placed a speed light behind her to make sure the fog was visible and the dress was outlined. This is one of the best shots I’ve ever taken. It’s crazy to think it almost didn’t happen.
This photo was taken during Mark and Becca's secret elopement in Paris. The two of them also snuck away to Paris and had us capture their elopement. They had an intimate ceremony in their Airbnb. Prior to the ceremony we photographed around popular Paris sites, in search of a different perspective on the Eiffel Tower.
This photo was taken during a Bridal styled photo shoot that we do in off wedding season as practice and experimentation ground held at Cecil Green Park in Vancouver Canada. It was a candid capture when Christine (the model) was posing for a couple of fellow photographers in this main hall, I wanted to create something unique from the rest, looked at this beautiful chandelier hanging and started exploring the possibilities of including it with the bride in a creative way. I took the stairs from side leading to this upper level corridor from where the hall was viewable, Christine was totally unaware and so were the fellow photographers of this move and I shot from above where I could balance the chandelier and the bride diagonally in a pleasing composition.
This photo was shot in a Tea Estate in Kotagiri, which is near the Queen of Hills in Tamil Nadu, India. The golden hour pictures are always beautiful and I must say that Sowmi an Shiv made my experience even more memorable. The sun was so bright when it came out! It was the brightest golden hour that I've experienced so far!. I set my frame and I asked the groom to take her hand and walk down. Nailed it in the first shot itself!
This photo is very close to my heart. The couple, are my dear friends, Amrita & Nick. This was shot a few days before their engagement at Central park, New york. My wife Nikithaa and I were having a ball of a time doing their outdoor shoot. Amri, my childhood friend was too shy to pose for me while she was posing away to glory for my wife. When I saw this bridge, I asked them to go to the far end of the tunnel and asked Nick to carry her, aaaaannd Voila! :)
This image was captured at Priya and Dipesh's reception during the cake cutting. It is a picture that defines my photography- capturing natural moments and expressions that will stand the test of time. The couple were gazing into each others eyes showing their love for one another and at the same time we had some beautiful light shining into the marquee behind them giving the image that ethereal feel. Thank you to Priya and Dipesh for this beautiful moment.
This colorful wedding photo was taken at the wedding party of Neal and Karin in Uden a city in the south of the Netherlands. The bride and the groom we’re dancing on the dancefloor and all the dancelights we’re moving fast in different directions. I anticipated and freeze the perfect moment with a epic back and hairlight around the weddingcouple.
This beautiful rustic wedding was shot deep in the countrywide in the United Kingdom. It was one of those “blink and you’ll miss it” moments.. We had just finished up taking some portraits before heading off to the reception - as their classic car fired up and roared past the I focussed my 135mm and lucked out on this sensational one-off moment.
These two nice lovers wanted something industrial (at least for a part of their couple session) for their wedding day. Indeed, Jerome like street art and underground pictures and sometimes he photographs it. They found a very nice place in Luxembourg a few weeks before and we were going in when we found barriers before the place. There was a big sunlight and we were very disappointed, especially the groom who wished so to have pictures in. So we took a few minutes to go in an other old abandoned factory and when we came in, I told her that we could do something which would balance the problem we had at the other place. When I put them in the sunlight of the window, I understood that I was right. I wasn’t mistaken. And the picture enjoyed them very much.
There's nothing like capturing a natural, peaceful smile, and the beautiful Dasha (@dashahad) was smiling with grace while she was waiting to get out of the car and meet her handsome groom. It was a wonderful moment to capture... :)
The weather is hot, were at the lowest point but still worthy, specially after hearing from the bride that they had one of the best unexpected experience ever. These two had enough passion and courage to get dressed for a shooting session before their big day.
The third night of our 5-days-hike the Ottertrail in South-Africa was such an amazing place. With waves unto more than ten meters high, incredible! I was thinking: i need a couple to photograph! So I asked some of the other hikers from Australia and they were ‘in’. A twenty-minutes-shoot was full of love, laugh and fun!
The story behind this picture is actually quite simple. The couple wanted to take pictures in an epic place, so we went up a volcano in Center France. It was the last day of August and we planned this session for a very long time. I just came back from a 4-weeks trip in the United States and I still had my suitcase in the trunk of my car, yet we climbed up the volcano, had a very nice picnic tohgether and took pictures. For this one, I really liked the color of the grass. The sun was setting and the landscape was being more and more yellow, so I asked them to stand still while I took this pictures of them!
The photograph was captured at St. Dennis in central of Athens Greece. It was a romantic moment because the ceremony was finished and the bride wanted to rest because it was on the first term of pregnancy.
The photo was shot on ceremony outside the city, in the suburban hotel. We always shoot weddings together and I was able to leave the main photos on Kira. At the ceremony, I run as far as possible to make a shot. Then I saw a man who prepares champagne glasses slides. I run up to him and asked him to make a few shots in a pile of glasses champagne. I made a few shots. One of them you see now.
I also want to thank Alena and Roma that they are so sensual and truly happy in this day, it was a pleasure to capture moments of happiness!
The photo has been made at the same place where the wedding couple said yes to each other two hours later. The photo shows the romance of the couple and the perfect symmetry of the cathedral.
The location happens to be one of the beaches in Mangalore, beautiful coastal city in Karnataka (India). A home to lush greenery.
with a motley of interesting people. The plan was to shoot at twilight during sunset (my personal favourites), however due to time constraints, we arrived at 3:00pm.
The light was very harsh however I loved the colour of the sand and its texture. While pondering over what best i could offer with current circumstances, I happened to notice the shadow looking down. And there it was “the shadows” appearing larger than life which reflected joy and happiness.
The location happens to be at backwaters near Mangalore, India. I must say the couple were very interesting and open to ideas. The bride & groom was more than willing to experiment. This shoot happens to be the most challenging one. This was shot with long exposure.
Two of the major challenges were the fire wool works and the water. Reason being the water was never stable which in turn kept moving the boat and in addition to this the person handling fireworks had to keep safety in mind and in the process kept moving the boat which was used as support for him to carry out his work. After one and half hour, we were able to pull it off. Must say this experience redefined patience.
The idea of this image was born from the desire of the couple, Elisabetta and Andrea, to have a photo under the huge tree, how a representation of their love, the tree of life with huge roots and ancient trunk, that not even the blackest storm can fold.
The atmosphere was perfect, the sunset visible in the background, an extraordinary light that illuminated the dense leaves and... their sweet embrace.
The day was terrible and the weather very depressing. The bride and groom were worried that they would not get a single good image. They were pleasantly surprised.
The bride had told me since we met, that this moment was very important to them, and I could not miss!
This photo was taken at the exit of the bride and groom from the church. The military cortege goes down their swords and to continue the couple must kiss. Here the time!
That wedding day was in Seattle WA, it had been raining all day long. Yet, when Oksana and Valety were together, the gloomy weather was forgotten. For the young love was in the air for these two love birds. While taking the shot I wanted to capture the rare moment between the bride and groom, the look of love and joy that would last the whole day. The vintage "Packard Super Eight" was a huge plus for the shot. Its details made the picture its own kind of uniqueness and gave off a vibrant look.
That is Jim and Sofia, a lovely couple. This picture was captured at the end of the shooting that was made in the woods of Pelion in central Greece. The bride said she would like to look like a fairy tale and that loves fairies. So I made this and she loved it. I said to her "She guide him to her home after a magical day in the forest" She answered me “Anyone ever saw him again” ¨J An awesome day with a great couple. I loved them.
That day was a storm day and the rain stop for few hours, we a running late but bisede all that allow us to do the prewedding. The bride was concerned about it but We told her that day should be a great day and the images were come out oursatanding. From the beginning they want Expectacular images and we made it for them. We made it. This picture were taked at Puerto Plata city a beautiful town at the north coast from my wonderful island Dominican Republic.
Sometimes I ask a couple to pose and they surprise me by doing something completely different. This time, we ended up with the cutest silhouette I've ever shot. It was one of those "I wish I had a camera" moments. And lucky for me, I always have a camera.
Sofia and Ricardo, our Bride and Groom, chose the amazing Arrábida beaches for their Trash the Dress photoshoot. So, for this image, they got the difficult part: to swim under water with their wedding clothes and to appear beautiful, relaxed and free. I got the other part: to climb a 3-meter rock to shoot them from!
It was a lot of fun and a great moment for all of us and for a small group of people watching us from the sand. So we have three stars here: Sofia, Ricardo and the spectacular Portuguese ocean.
Set at their old college in Manhattan NY, this amazing couple wanted to go back to FIT where they first met. The transition in the photo shows how their paths came together as one.
People from Vancouver will understand the amount of rain we get is ridiculous! So we are lucky to have a little cloudy break in the afternoon to come to the University of British Columbia, where the couple went to school. They stood in the middle of the rose garden, snap! A beautiful combination of the over casting clouds, mountain and ocean views, a little bit of blooming roses and of course the lovely couple!
One of my unforgettable weddings, this image was captured when bride & groom were getting ready for their shooting session before the wedding. A day they'll always remember and a wedding that marked in my heart.
One of my favorite weddings. The couple are my friends and i love photographing my friends. We were for some shots in a beautiful location below there and I asked if the couple wants to go to a magical place to close a wonderful day. So we went to the rocks of Meteora in central Greece, one of the most beautiful places in our country. I told them that we will do a risky shot and should be very careful. Vangelis the groom was very worried but convince him with Evi the bride to stand at the edge of this rock. I ran quickly to a higher place to take the picture. I just told them that looks great, the groom got her close for a kiss and... CLICK!
On a super bright summer day I was on the way to a green place with the bride and all the beautiful people around her to take a few group shots.
Almost there, I turned my head around and mentioned the fun they had and took a picture of the scene when the bride protected herself from the sun and literally everyone followed her.
For me as wedding photographer a really good picture is to capture a real moment where anyone can see and feel the whole happiness and love which is flying around on this special day.
Every moment is unique. To catch the best out of it is my passion.
Molí del Duc; an old flour mill transformed into an opened site for celebrations. It is the place where this young couple , Jordi and Raquel, decide to unite their lives . A brilliant result for a couple that shines.
Melissa is an incredible photographer, she think about Iceland to make her wedding unique. We though about the special image for a long time and finally decided to do the session in this little place, very close to Skogafoss, we look for something special about iceland and found these amazing basalt columns. Be there standing up was veeeery difficult so we decided to do it this way... a liitle bit of composition, a bright sun, and two spoons of love. Thats the recipe for this photo. ;)
Last shoots at Colorado Island in the afternoon. The couple were mesmerized running around and enjoying the magic of the ocean. They felt free and happy as if nobody was around them. They had the whole beach for themselves with a picturesque and lovely sunset.
Knowing the bride and groom well is always an added value to your work, They push you to see from a different perspective, the amazing couple gave me the right perspective in this shot.
Kelly and John's wedding took place at a beautiful lakeside in the area of Amsterdam, The Netherlands. For their wedding shoot we started out with some great shots aside of the lake itself, but a little further up the road we discovered this small but overwhelmingly green park where the roses were in full bloom.
Kelly and John are actually a sweet, but also a powerful couple. So, their wish was to see romance, as well as fire and power in the Personal Wedding Art we had to develope for them.
In this picture we framed them exactly in their personal interaction. Of course the kiss draws attention, but especially the way the couple is holding hands appealed to us. As if all the sweetness of the roses and the softness in the many shades is being levelled in the couples kiss and the way they hold hands.
Justyna and Michael contacted me in November 2015 to cover there Wedding in Mauritius in February 2016. They are from Poland.
The package was to cover the Civil Wedding ceremony and do a photoshoot afterwards. I only met with the couple on the day of the Wedding. When I saw Justyna walking to her Husband, I thought that she must be a model. She had this rolling movement when walking, typical of a model. She revealed to me that she was a dancer and a cheerleader.
After the Wedding ceremony, we proceeded for the photoshoot on the beach. She had such aesthetic in each pose that all shots were a delight.
She had a beautiful Wedding dress open on the front which revealed her beautiful and sporty legs and had a long tail.
I decided to make her jump and asked her husband to hold the tail of the dress.
Justyna did a few beautiful leaps and I caught this shot. Converted it in Black and White to add impact and reveal the frills of her dress
It was a very nice winterday in the Netherlands when Sophie and Jan-Bart where about to get married. This was a couple from Amsterdam but they would meet at her parents house.
Early in the morning I went to the brides house to do some awesome make-up shots. It was a relaxed morning and Sophie was having a good time with her mother and close friends. Jan-Bart was staying at a hotel with his mates. My assistent was doing al the groom shots.
And then the doorbell rang. They where about to see each other for the first time. When she came down the stairs it was a magical moment. Because her father is a floriculturist and owned a few large greenhouses the bride and groom very much liked a picture in one of them.
Because of the nice colors and symmetry chose this spot. With a little external flash on the couple I toke the picture. It was an awesome day and a great couple and I hope they’re just as happy as I am with the result.
It was a perfect winter wedding day of Kaisu and Teemu. I had the honour to be part of the bestman crew and also the official wedding photographer that day. We had discussed the possibility of a bad weather for outdoor portrait shoot with the bride and she was worried if we should do it at all. So we were in the wedding car and cruising around the reception venue which was basically looking like a mystical medieval forest with a bit of snow here and there perfected by a majestetic mist all around. I got a vision of the newlyweds kissing in in the forest surrounded by nature. The atmosphere of love completed the shot we all were looking for!
In a picturesque place of Ukraine. Happy bride Catherine, flying in the arms of Vasily manly. Dramatic sunset and texture of the trees created the atmosphere of beautiful fairy tale with a happy ending!
I shot this photo near Pollachi, Tamil Nadu, India. It is a very well know spot for the locals. We were there from early evening, getting a few shots and finally when the sun went down, I set everything up to get this shot that I always wanted to make! The lovely couple, Nivi & Sriram had to hold still for a few seconds, which they did with ease!
I saw the mirror reflecting the stairs as soon as I walked into the room, but due to the placement of guests I didn't know if it would pan out. The ideal place to stand for symmetry also had chairs placed there. After taking my last few shots upstairs I looked back down to see the sea of faces looking back up towards the staircase, and I knew I had to make it happen. Normally I try to work and shoot around, through and in between whatever is present, but part of the appeal of this photo to me was the even placement. So, two guests were thanked for letting me squeeze and to move their seats for this one photo. I knew straight away I got the result I wanted.
I had a fun day at the wedding of Gemma & Richie at Haselbury Mill. Their day was one to remember for sure and I am so privileged to have been there to capture the day including the confetti shower when they left the church that day. I didn’t realise how much confetti there was. But it made for such a great image.
Hot summer day in Odessa. Our shoot took place on a yacht, that cut through the waters of the Black Sea. Christina and James were really happy!
Have you ever found the one you've dreamed of all your life? Felycia and Mark found the one. And nothing will stop their love for each other. Not even the cars that drive by in front of them. While the cars in Downtown Atlanta are only there for a point in time, they create the perfect frame for the moment of the kiss and their love story. So it is our job as wedding photographers and artists to capture these perfect moments.
Gotta love these spontaneous moments when shooting getting readies. I like to shoot them, especially when having a lot of time and you can play with angles, compositions and other things. I wasn´t able to tell this dog that walk here, but it still came like ordered. Excellent setup with beautiful bridesmaids and gorgeous bride, taken at bride´s parent´s home near the venue.
Erica and Wayne got married at the amazingly beautiful Lake Tarawera in New Zealand. Instead of driving to ceremony Erica and her bridesmaids took the scenic route and traded a wedding car for a wedding boat. Sipping champagne on the roof of a vintage launch on such a beautiful day, the girls really arrived to the wedding ceremony in style.
Daile & Nando are two people with just a huge heart; two very loved human beings with endless amounts of love to give back. The sea has played a big roll in their relationship. It's their favorite place, especially the one in this piece, Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, where Nando proposed to Daile. Here, surrounded by salty water, reef and the sky; embraced by God's great creation. I, at first sight of this paradise, never doubted this would be the best place to capture the past, present and future of their beautiful life together. (Note: If it's possible to place the complete photograph without cropping, I would truly appreciate it since every space inside this frame means a lot to me.
Castell del Remei; a wine cellar, built in 1780.
Marc and Lidia chose this spot for the Post- Wedding. You could feel the moisture and the smell of wine while working , barrels and stone corridors invited you to enjoy the moment. I will always remember this picture in a special way.
Caroline & Jafet have the kind of love for each other that standard human eyes just can't hide. And when they look at each other it's an explosion we can only really catch a glimpse of with how he holds and kisses her. I took this photograph in Salinas, Baní, Dominican Republic. I'm so moved by this photo because it was a very spontaneous moment and this is precisely what I aim at. There, in the stillness of the day, at a side of the sky, the sun testified to their love. My favorite part of this photo is probably that they're not surrounded by too many elements. Here it's just them, alone and with no noise around them.
Brendon & Yvonne celebrated their wedding in 3 days in Toscany Italy. This picture was taken on the 3rd day, we did some wine tasting and had a really nice dinner in the Chianti valley. I took this picture at the and of the day, camera and flash on tripod and a long shutterspeed. I wrote the word love with sparkles, becouse Brendon & Yvonne are really really really in love.
Between beautiful ancient olive trees, ancient Roman ruins, the beauty of a breathtaking sunset, this has inspired the photo of this marriage in Squillace of Giusi and Antonio.
Thank you to the bridegrooms, in particular the bride that despite the dress, barefoot, she has succeeded to climb the stones; the award it is above all your.
Best part of being a photographer is capturing love stories and expressions of people's feelings of their true love. This stunning couple is someone I will never forget. They are a match made like no other! So passion and their love for each other is absolutely irresistible! We took this photo in my hometown in one of my favorite locations, Whatcom Falls Park. I've always wanted to do an engagement session here and this couple was perfect for everything I have ever envisioned!
Beautiful young couple Jacob and Christina. Their wedding pictures have traditional Ukrainian elements: a white dress and a wreath of flowers on the bride's head.
At the heart of downtown Vancouver, we came out after sunset. I looked for an angle to show even in the busiest part of the city, there are still a lot of greens to make this city one of the best voted cities to live in. Of course we had some city lights as bonus which made the picture beautiful!
At the beginning of the wedding we all know that the couple will finish at the pool, but we don't know that all the people will finish there! Dancing and splashing like for an hour, probably the 28C at that night help a lot! The photo was taken when the couple decide to get out of the pool and have a towel, meanwhile they look at there friends doing crazy things!
Anne and Adrianne's wedding gave an awesome reason to travel from the Netherlands to the USA. Their wedding was my first destination wedding. The groom (Dutch) and bride (American) had their gorgeous wedding in the Oaks Likeside Restaurant in Ohio. This image was shot at a beautiful spot, a very romantic site along the beach of Chippewa Lake. The wedding day itself was full of love and happiness. In the evening I asked the couple outside for a very short shoot (5 minutes or so). In the dark I love to use my flashes off camera. When I asked them to hug, the flash lightend up the enormous beautiful trees. This picture is absolutely one of my favourite!
Anisha had a beautiful and colorful Indian wedding in Raipur. I wanted to capture her personality and the colors and energy of the place so I asked her to dance in rounds and have fun. This photo was captured from the 1st floor of her beautiful house, before going to the first celebration of the week.
An October morning.. chilly but the sun was rising. We took a ride to the Panbos in Katwijk where the fog still hung between the trees. The sun was rising and shining and we couldn't wait to wander through the forest. This photo is the result of a wonderfull morning in the Netherlands with a lovely couple.
A calm beach up north in Virar, Maharashtra, not too many people and eyes to make the couple all nervous. They got into their groove at once and made the shoot for all of us so much fun. Christoswin and Renita walked along the beach playing the guitar and singing to their favorite songs. As we went along suddenly the skies changed and as the sun was about to set, the sky got all dramatic and created such an amazing backdrop for the beautiful couple.
