Hi, i am Lars

My photographic roots are in beauty and fashion photography. But my heart has always been in storytelling wedding photography.

I love those special moments and the feelings between bride and groom. I do not just shoot a wedding - I try to capture creative and meaningful wedding photos that bring bridal couples back to their emotions of their wedding day, even years later. I do not just photographically determine what it looks like, but what it feels like.

Cologne in Germany is my home base, but I'm traveling all over the world. I would like to be with you and be your wedding photographer wherever you choose to celebrate your celebration!

Winning photos

When Cologne football fans celebrate their wedding, the location must of course be near the 1. FC Köln stadium. With a few flares and loud roars, they "stormed" towards the stadium and had a lot of fun doing it.

69th Collection

It was the first time after the corona-lockdown that a wedding couple could join a party with 50 people. Especially in Cologne, it was time to toast with a beer called "Kölsch".

68th Collection

Whether the sun is shining or it is raining; the joy of newlyweds on their wedding day is always something very special. During this picture, I just had a hard time getting behind the three. A compliment to the groom and bridesmaid actually managing to keep the wedding dress clean despite the rain.

67th Collection

When it was possible to celebrate a wedding with over 20 people again in Germany, the joy was great. Throw away the mask and joy all the happiness in all those faces. I wish all wedding couples that a carefree wedding will soon be possible again.

66th Collection

Rings - a symbol of eternity. There is probably no beautiful symbol in the love represented by the wedding rings. That's why I love the detailed photos of the rings at every wedding.

64th Collection

Imagine that 2 people meet in this huge, wonderful world and realize that it is they who are meant for each other. If you just let these two people be themselves, there will be a lot of intimate moments to take wonderful photos.

64th Collection

It was a few meters that I chased the two of them into the wheat fields. After all, it did not rain, so the bride and her beautiful wedding dress survived without damage. They were a wonderful couple in love and it is always special for me when love creates a new life...as you can see.

63rd Collection

The heavily pregnant bride Saskia and her groom Metty fascinated me very much with their emotional handling. They exuded so much happiness - as if they didn't need anyone else in the world. I tried to express this charisma. By the way: a wonderful daughter has grown out of this love.
Made with a DJI Mavic Pro 2.

63rd Collection

This picture was taken near an airport, in front of an aircraft hangar. It takes no more than two loving people. I like it to minimize the essence of a wedding to the bare minimum.

62nd Collection

I love the contrast between beauty and decay. This bride of a boho wedding had so much fun with unusual photos that we didn't want to stop. Taken with a Canon EOS R and an 85mm f1.2

61st Collection

Love is in the air. I love close-ups of emotional moments - a moment that is so intimate, full of peace and security. Made at the beach of Noordwijk/NL while sundown.

60th Collection

A Russian-German wedding is very special in many ways. But one moment is really magical: at a certain time, the bride and groom sit opposite each other and the bride's mom and also the mother-in-law take off the bride's veil. Now she is no longer a bride, but a wife. A silence spreads and the bridal couple exchanges incredibly beautiful looks. I was really fascinated by this magic moment.

This bride fascinated me very much; not only that she was a beautiful bride and wore a very unusual wedding dress - but she was also so spontaneous and uncomplicated. We passed this field on the way to the photo location. The incidence of light, the lines and width had caught my attention. The bride noticed that and just said: "if you like it, we can make a few pictures here." And off we went in the mud with bridal shoes ... ;-)

59th Collection

This picture was made on the beach of Koh Chang/Thailand with a beautiful wedding couple from Germany. I really loved the very personal moment and this nice moon. No colors are needed for this nice moment.

58th Collection

This wonderful couple was one of my favorites in the year 2019. And what expresses the essence of a wedding more than life born of love?

57th Collection

Beach weddings are always something very special and there are countless but quickly transient situations. It was a perfect moment for this photo; the sun gave great light, the pose was right and the wind did the rest with the bridal veil. These are the moments that make me happy to have such a wonderful job.

56th Collection

We are happiest when we can be ourselves. That's why we marry the one who takes us as we are. In this situation, I could feel this absolute happiness. Luck makes our lives more colorful - as colorful as confetti. :-) I love it.

54th Collection

Everybody looks at the bride and groom when they say „yes“ to each other. But it is the youngest who stole the show. Why looking from the background, when you can be a part of it.

52nd Collection

It means that the most beautiful wedding photos are taken at sunset. I say the weather does not matter. these are the special moments that make a photo special...
