Full time wedding photographer based in Rotterdam, the Netherlands.

I combine documentary styled wedding photography with creative out-of-the-box posed images. Couples book me because they want their wedding photographed beautifully in the way it actually was, but at the same time also want a few of those images that really stand out due to their creativity.

Winning photos

This lovely couple had their ceremony at the city hall and a small gathering afterwards at their home. During sunset I found their window provided the perfect spot for some nice images of them at home.

Sometimes the light hits just right for some nice posed shots. I love how in this shot the light hits the veil of the bride as well as both their faces.

At the end of the wedding day when the sky turned dark and cloudy we used the nice backdrop with the iconic landmark, the Euromast, of the city of Rotterdam for this shoot.

As part of the pre-wedding shoot we spent the last hour before sunset at the beach. We took many lovely shots and this one that ended up as a favorite.

This couple got married in a church with a big curtain at the rear. Just after the ceremony we had a few minutes for some portraits and this idea came to mind. I am really happy with how it came out and I am glad that the couple was really fond of it also.

This gay couple had the most beautiful sunset wedding on the beach, while one their friends played and sang a song for them. The overal atmosphere was absolutely amazing and I was really happy with how this image capture that entire ceremony.

This awesome couple choose a nice location with many plants and this colorful wall for our photoshoot. When I saw the strong contrast between the wall and the green plants I immediately knew I wanted to incorporate it in the shot :)

This beautiful ceremony had a central role for their two kids. The parents and the kids had a really strong and loving bond, which showed clearly throughout the entire day.

After a beautiful day, this was the perfect place for an ending shoot of the day in their beloved city of Rotterdam. Adding a flash added the extra pop in the image:)

72nd Collection

This couple got married at the city hall in their city. Just after they walked out of the ceremony we took a couple of minutes for a few posed shots.

This backlit scene created a perfect backdrop to focus entirely on the hands. By shooting just before the ring was put on the bride's finger and by cropping this way there is an extra added tension to the image.

Last song of the night! This picture really sums up how the entire wedding party was. Great atmosphere and an awesome couple with great guests.

At the city hall where this couple went to get married the gate offered a perfect location for a silhouette shot as they walked in.

In this amazing wedding location in the north of Spain, the was a glass wall overlooking the nice scenery. When this little flower girl went over I of course had to take pictures of her :)

In this shot, the beautiful brass door of the Laurenskerk in the city of Rotterdam played a central role. The cold winter weather combined with the warm light behind the couple made for a nice contrast.

This wedding couple got married in the beautiful city of Gouda. With the sun already a bit lower, the iconic city hall was the perfect background for a short shoot.

During a short posing session after this amazing outdoor wedding ceremony, I had to incorporate the beautiful backdrop in the image. I used the mountain top in the top left to balance the couple out in the lower right. I love the strong look of the bride in this image.
