Hi, i am Lars
My photographic roots are in beauty and fashion photography. But my heart has always been in storytelling wedding photography.
I love those special moments and the feelings between bride and groom. I do not just shoot a wedding - I try to capture creative and meaningful wedding photos that bring bridal couples back to their emotions of their wedding day, even years later. I do not just photographically determine what it looks like, but what it feels like.
Cologne in Germany is my home base, but I'm traveling all over the world. I would like to be with you and be your wedding photographer wherever you choose to celebrate your celebration!
Winning photos
I think the contrast between a dilapidated, vanishing location is very inspiring for many photographers.
On the one hand something slowly passes - on the other hand something new is emerging: a young family and everything that grows out of it. These opposites always give wedding pictures a little story.
A shoot doesn't always have to be serious. Just have some fun and enjoy the day. And I can say that it went on so fun until late at night.
81st CollectionAt least for me as a wedding photographer, there is hardly anything more beautiful than the contrast between a graceful bride and a rugged location.
81st CollectionSomething wonderful about a wedding is, that no matter what happens, the good mood and happiness of a couple is not clouded by anything. Not even with a heavy rain shower during the bridal couple shooting. The groom has to help out spontaneously so that the bride can step up her legs. The absolutly right moment to take picture.
80th CollectionAn old factory near the party location was the location for the bridal couple shoot. Unfortunately it rained that day and only little light was available. I found this armchair in a corner and found these lighting conditions in another room. Since I never really use lightning to capture the real situation, it took a few tries to get this picture. But i love it - and i hope you love it too.
80th CollectionI love it when bridal couples sometimes take more difficult photos. Now one wonders what was so difficult about it ?! OK. The access to the pasture was secured with barbed wire. The bride is afraid of cows, and a wedding dress doesn't really get along with what cows leave behind in a pasture. :-) Still, both of them managed it wonderfully.
79th CollectionThis couple has a close connection to their homeland, whose flagship is huge fields of water lilies. The two love water lilies - their daughter is also named after a variety.
With my drone I was able to give both of them such a picture.
Take off into the clouds with happiness.
The friends had no mercy on the bridegroom and made him look frighteningly high. Sometimes I also got scared because the "safety net" was very sketchy. But we all survived and ist was definitely a lot of fun.
It means that the most beautiful wedding photos are taken at sunset. I say the weather doesn't matter. These are the special moments that make a photo special...
77th CollectionYou could say: kissed by the sun.
What more could you want for your wedding? Fantastic weather, a great location and then the pregnant woman still fits her wedding dress ;-) the ball grew noticeably.
That‘why i really love my job - being part of such fantastic moments.
Sometimes it’s the little things that deserve some attention. Without wanting to advertise, but the shoes had to be the shoes for the bride.
And the bride didn't want to take her eyes off the rings either. So what could be more natural than to immortalize these two important things in one picture?
In spring, Germany is characterized by endless expanses of rapeseed fields. What could be better than recording intimate moments for two with a drone in such a field?! I love it...
75th CollectionWhen I was allowed to photograph these two cuties on their day, all the weather forecasts were on the storm. We nevertheless went to a nearby, completely muddy field and used the very few sun rays of the day. The two were so in love and proud of each other and that is exactly the message of this picture.
74th CollectionThe most beautiful pictures are created when the bride and groom do not even know that they are being photographed. Like this couple in a tropical setting of Indonesia. This is the meaning of wedding reportage.
74th CollectionIt is these special moments that can tell a story without many words - depending on the viewer's imagination. I'll keep the real story to myself - it's much more exciting that way. And don't worry - they are still alive.
74th CollectionRings as a sign of infinity always have a special meaning on the wedding day. This small and yet so important item simply deserves to be shown in the right light. I love the wedding photographer's ability to free up the time for a close inspection.
73rd CollectionIf you get married in the Corona period, then please with sunshine. And the two deserve it; they already had to postpone their wedding due to Corona. Monica is pregnant and the weather was kind to both of them at the last possible appointment before the birth.
73rd CollectionLove makes time standstill. In the middle of the city center of Aachen, this wedding couple lets time standstill. No matter what happens around them - nothing can distract their love. Maybe another form of lockdown.
72nd CollectionA good wedding report shows what is really going on. As in this picture, which captures a small, intimate moment between bride and groom. I think the two radiate a wonderful unity - exactly what love means.
