I like the little moments. I like how they stack up to become big love stories. I cry at nearly every wedding I photograph. I live and breathe for the next photograph I'm going to take. Based in Edinburgh, Scotland, I have a deep-seated love/hate relationship with the Scottish light (or lack of...), but over the years I've learned to celebrate the sunny times and conquer the dark times with a bit of fill-in flash...

Als kind begon ik al met fotograferen en gezien mijn leeftijd was dit altijd met een digitale camera. Mensen op hun puurste wijze op de foto zetten en momenten vastleggen voor een blijvende herinnering, waren belangrijke punten voor mij. Zowel op vakantie als tijdens het uitgaan: die camera ging overal mee naar toe. Al jaren fotografeer ik nu met liefde verschillende waardevolle momenten: LIEFDE, TROUWEN, BABY, ZWANGERSCHAP EN KLEINE FAMILIES. Mijn passie is om pure en intieme momenten op beeld vast te leggen waardoor ik een blijvende herinnering voor jullie maak. Het beste functioneer ik in niet al te grote groepen (met uitzondering van bruiloften, want hier ben ik gek op). Ik ben controle behoeftig en geniet van spontane dingen. Op zoek gaan naar de juiste momenten en op momenten niet al te geposeerd, dat is waar ik van houd.

That's Me...Huib, al jaren een passie voor fotografie. op 6-jarige leeftijd schoot ik tijdens de zomervakantie mijn eerste rolletje vol, en jawel, daar zat al 1 geposeerde (familie)foto tussen, niet wetende dat ik jaren later niets anders zou doen en letterlijk van mijn hobby mijn werk kon maken. Als trouwfotograaf valt alles samen. de ware momenten, het werken met licht tijdens het opmaak en aankleed moment tot aan de complete sfeer op een trouwlocatie. Het unieke karakter wat iedere bruiloft met zich meebrengt maakt mijn werk een mooi en gewaardeerd beroep. Wetende dat dit jullie mooiste dag is zal ik deze natuurlijk zo mooi mogelijk vast leggen. Soms is daar een kleine aanwijzing voor nodig, maar ik zou geen fotograaf zijn als ik niet zou streven naar de mooiste foto's voor jullie. Dit alles voor een mooie herinnering...Een herinnering aan jullie bruiloft!
