He scooped her up and made her his! What an amazing love story these two have. High school sweethearts that lost touch after heading off to college. Years later they found each other again. He wasn’t going to miss one more opportunity to make her his wife, and she said yes! Love these two!

The story behind the shot:
Most of my best ideas I come up with in the middle of the night. Sadly for my husband, I wake him up a lot screaming with excitement. This was one of those nights.

Having lived in Oregon for several years where growing cranberries are a big part of life, I remembered the Oceanspray cranberry commercial were the farmers stood in the bogs pitchfork in hand frowning. I knew I had to recreate it with a bride and groom!

During Marla and Terris intimate day at Island Home greenhouse , I spotted a pitchfork and shovel. This was it! This was my opportunity to get the shot! There was an area beside the greenhouse that had potted plants for sale. I placed them in the middle of the plants, and shot low as if they were standing in a field of flowers. It turned out to be my favorite shot of the day!

I crazy love these lace boots by house of Elliot Collection and throw in a love bus and my excitement could not be contained!!! I knew I had to have this shot that very instant! I hope you love it as much as I do!

Kyle & Arselia are are old souls with a romantic southern love story. I wanted to capture this in their portraits, so I chose to photograph them along this old fence line and edit this photo in black and white for a timeless feel.

I work as a fashion and wedding photographer. I was hired by a veil designer to photographer her designs for the year. Over a period of days I photographed several models at several locations. This shot was taken on the fly and is one of my favorites.

Brittney & Stevens engagement session took place at Secret Garden Miami. The tropical grounds, stunning waterfalls, and coy filled ponds make it a breathtaking location for photographs.

To be a great wedding photographer, you must be a great story teller. Without saying a word, our photos should speak to your soul.

Every great wedding photographer is an epic story teller. My mind is constantly thinking of unique ways to tell my couples stories. It’s a great day when your bride and groom are this happy and equally fun!

I recently learned that Vietnamese brides do not wear white on their wedding day because white is reserved for funerals. They wear colors to celebrate love. ( I was the kid who had to use every color in the crayon box on every picture I colored or it was not a masterpiece. lol) so I embrace this awesome concept fully! Anyhoo-I love this photo of them because I feel like it depicts my couple as “the love story” like a cover of a romance novel.

While working as a destination wedding photographer in London, I had the opportunity to stay at the ME of London Hotel. It was an incredible experience in every way. Not only is the outside of the hotel a photographers dream, but the inside is magnificent. Dramatically lit hallways, reflective walls, and a rooftop bar with breathtaking views of the city make the ME of London one of my very favorite hotels in the world. I was on creativity overload throughout my stay. I envisioned this photo before exiting the cab upon my arrival.

Lindsey & Matt said I do at one of my favorite resorts in Key Largo, Playa Largo Resort. This photo was taken just after they wed inside the gazebo where their vows were spoken. I thought it would be a beautiful symbol of the promise they made to one another.

I believe when you are looking for miracles, you will see them. When I was a child, my brother and I played the slug bug game. Because we were looking for vw bugs, they were everywhere and we began smacking each other profusely in laughter. Always be looking for little miracles on wedding days. Wait for the right moment, and be ready to record it. Being a great wedding photographer means being an epic story teller along with capturing breathtaking portraits.

Renae’s Harley inspired wedding day was so kick butt, I had to get a shot of her draped on her man’s motorcycle! It was the perfect bridal shot! The groom went wild.

Koty is the lead singer in the band Koty and the Key billies in the Florida Keys. Carin is a local wedding planner. They wanted to create an engagement session that told of their love story. It was perfect.

The mermaid bride... Out of the sea she arose and captured his heart.

For brides who want to feel like a mermaid on their wedding day, Playa Largo Resort offers a truly unique experience for couples to dive the shallow-water corals, shipwrecks and hidden treasures of the Florida Keys as they say, “I do.” Vows are exchanged on writing slates while fellow divers and witnesses look on. Before the newly married couple rises to the surface, they can anchor the roots of their new relationship by planting a coral reef fragment that will remain and continue to grow over the years, just like their marriage.

I met my husband at a stoplight ( literally). He chased me 20 miles down the road and I married him three months later. I tease him and tell him, I only stopped because we was driving a truck. I’m a pickup truck, cowboy hat kinda girl. When photographing this All American styled wedding, in my heart I knew they had to have a pickup truck so I called my friend and she brought one over. I’m kind of crazy like that. Passionate people live adventurous lives.

From the first time I saw this tree, I knew it longed for a swing. It longed to tell the love stories of those who kissed beneath its branches... so I called a woodworker and I had it made. Lee & Larie christened the swing on this beautiful day and the storybook began. Key largo Lighthouse Beach
