I have a real passion for delivering beautiful images that reflect the authentic, heartfelt emotions of a wedding.
I document the day in a relaxed manor, picking up on all the key moments, whilst capturing all the fun and humour as it unfolds
I really thrive on making the most of the natural landscape, I’m a sucker for a large moody sky or a stunning starlit evening, not to mention the magic of the golden hour, chasing light is a must at any wedding

We were just about to wrap up the shoot when the reflection of the hall caught my eye walking back. I set Aynslie & Hugh in the centre of the frame and took a low viewpoint to capture as much reflection on the ground as possible. I had one flash behind them and one lighting them from the front; I got lucky with the raindrops on my lens creating a nice effect!
Venue - Stubton Hall
I’d had this shot in mind all day; I waited until dusk, so there was still a hint of ambient light hanging around. I added a flash behind Kelsey & Steve to provide some backlighting which also illuminated the inside of the tent. I’m really pleased how this one turned out
Venue - Tissington Hall, Derby
Aynslie & Hugh were such fun, expressive characters; so it didn’t take much for me to coax the laughter out of them. I placed them in front of some natural window light, underexposed for the highlights, and let them do the rest.
Venue – Stubton Hall Newark
The summer sun was finally dipping below the horizon, Sarah & Blake had one last intimate moment before they headed back to greet their evening guest
Venue - Burghley House Stamford
I'd found this location earlier in the day and noted it had the potential for a sunset shoot. Nikita & Andrew were keen to head away from the venue and go on the hunt for a sunset, I just love it when my couples agree to get a little adventurous. Everything came together and we were rewarded with a beautiful sunset, we captured many fun images in this sequence but I just adore the tranquility and peacefulness in this image. A moment of reflection.
Sarah & Michael's venue was dressed perfectly for a winter-themed wedding, I took advantage of the warm candlelight & fairy lights to create this romantic moment. I added a little extra warmth to the image by using an ice light.
Venue - Old Hall Ely.
Perfect light, it just can't be beaten. It's a photographers dream when the light is just right, add a little romance and laughter and you're onto a winner. Millie & Dan adding just that at Bassmead Manor Barns.
The West Mill Wedding Venue in Derbyshire is the perfect location to get your creative juices flowing, I whisked Gary & Marc off just before the speeches with this shot in mind. I exposed for the lamps then added a pop of flash to the faces with a grid on my flash head to diffuse and direct the light on them. Really happy how this one turned out.
Golf courses have their benefits for wedding venues, the open space is great for after dark portraits. I found this composition that I like with the trees adding some texture to the image. I pulled out some stars with long exposure and a low powered burst of flash on Emma & Glenn made them pop.
I scoped out this composition earlier in the day and it just so happened the moon rose in exactly the right place. We’d been spinning in this dress all day long, so one more couldn’t hurt, by now they were pros at it.
This image had a pop of flash from behind along with a little from the front to light the bride and groom.
