Hi, i am Lars
My photographic roots are in beauty and fashion photography. But my heart has always been in storytelling wedding photography.
I love those special moments and the feelings between bride and groom. I do not just shoot a wedding - I try to capture creative and meaningful wedding photos that bring bridal couples back to their emotions of their wedding day, even years later. I do not just photographically determine what it looks like, but what it feels like.
Cologne in Germany is my home base, but I'm traveling all over the world. I would like to be with you and be your wedding photographer wherever you choose to celebrate your celebration!

When Cologne football fans celebrate their wedding, the location must of course be near the 1. FC Köln stadium. With a few flares and loud roars, they "stormed" towards the stadium and had a lot of fun doing it.
It was the first time after the corona-lockdown that a wedding couple could join a party with 50 people. Especially in Cologne, it was time to toast with a beer called "Kölsch".
Whether the sun is shining or it is raining; the joy of newlyweds on their wedding day is always something very special. During this picture, I just had a hard time getting behind the three. A compliment to the groom and bridesmaid actually managing to keep the wedding dress clean despite the rain.
When it was possible to celebrate a wedding with over 20 people again in Germany, the joy was great. Throw away the mask and joy all the happiness in all those faces. I wish all wedding couples that a carefree wedding will soon be possible again.
Imagine that 2 people meet in this huge, wonderful world and realize that it is they who are meant for each other. If you just let these two people be themselves, there will be a lot of intimate moments to take wonderful photos.
Rings - a symbol of eternity. There is probably no beautiful symbol in the love represented by the wedding rings. That's why I love the detailed photos of the rings at every wedding.
The heavily pregnant bride Saskia and her groom Metty fascinated me very much with their emotional handling. They exuded so much happiness - as if they didn't need anyone else in the world. I tried to express this charisma. By the way: a wonderful daughter has grown out of this love.

It was a few meters that I chased the two of them into the wheat fields. After all, it did not rain, so the bride and her beautiful wedding dress survived without damage. They were a wonderful couple in love and it is always special for me when love creates a new life...as you can see.
This picture was taken near an airport, in front of an aircraft hangar. It takes no more than two loving people. I like it to minimize the essence of a wedding to the bare minimum.
