Mirall de Llum would not exist without my wife Eulàlia, whatever my long-lasting experience behind the camera in other specialities, she is the reason why I apply it this way in wedding photography. At our beginnings I did put a camera in her hands because of her natural talent and she became instantly a great wedding photographer. We complement each other in a perfect way in a consistent and homogeneous photographic style in which she brings the intuition and robbed moments while my roots are light and composition.
Place in Spain
Mirall de Llum
A great couple, a magic sky, the sea skyline, color, composition, and light. Is it all that's needed? No, this time it also needed that Eulàlia, my wife is the one who pushed the trigger.
Cadaquès has a magic magnetism and a beautiful light. We knew it was far away, we knew we would have to spend the night there, and we knew we could not bill everything to our couple, but it did worth the travel. We woke up at four in the morning and climbed the cliff for over thirty minutes. The bride did dress up right there at the light of our torches and the lighthouse.
Tramuntana high wind was forecast, fortunately, at that time it was still weak enough to only give volume to the dress and movement to her hair. The sky went gorgeous and finally, the sun popped out the Mediterranean sea. Love made the rest for this shot that went over our expectations.
The freshness of Mary's youth, her natural elegance, and her charm is what did conquer Nico. Bamboo trees made the rest to capture their complicity.
The storm was over the sea and gave us a beautiful sky. A wonderful Pasiphae sculpture is standing at the end of the breakwater ready to receive the groom that wanted to be in the cow's belly. Suddenly the magic happens when all three heads get aligned and the shooting angle gives majesty to it -helped by some sun rays and my flashes. This and all my wedding images would not be possible without the help and soul of my wife Eulàlia, the other photographer half of Mirall de Llum.
