This moment for me is a great example of a story, two types of love in one scene here. This fleeting moment was captured as she reach the top of the aisle.

During covid when receptions were banned the couple decided to make the most of the situation. After the Wedding breakfast, they headed down the beach where we caught a break in the weather and a beautiful moment of calm.

one of 3 outfits for this wedding, the detail on the Indian ceremony was simply beautiful, using a 35mm and natural light as the bride adjusted her earing I though this top down angle would best show the level of detail she had gone to with her Henna and jewellery.

A powerful moment showing the love for her passed father who should have been there. During a slide show in the speeches the emotion rolled over the room. This moment grounds us all and reminds us of what's important.

This elopement was something special. During heavy Covid restrictions, receptions were not allowed so the bride decided she wanted to use the time and head to the beach after the drinks reception. As the sunset the couple ran into the sunset making this special image.

The groom wanted to do something fun and different for his groomsmen photo. After building up the courage the groom was thrown in the air by his ushers and best man. To capture this image I decided to lay on the floor and shoot up through the arms as he got air.

After a long day of rain, we wanted to create something for the couple, there was no sunset just more rain. We exposed the ambient warm light of the building to make a nice backdrop. We then took a few test shots with a back flash and invited the couple into the scene.

Captured at a local beach this couple wanted to go for a walk, the weather was against us but the sky was dramatic enough to take a step back and capture in all its glory.

Captured on a hilltop in Windermere, this little section of Wast Water was the perfect setting for this moment. Taken from a distance with loads of natural foreground light the couple became a natural silhouette. At the moment the wind caught the vale and the moment went from great to epic.

A beautiful moment when the groom picked up the boho bride the long grass and span her round for fun just at sunset. All day this couple had been great fun and were genuinely loving every moment.

72nd Collection

A country Tepee wedding that finished with some sunset couple shots. The last scene was slowly driving through a shallow stream as the couple smiled and kissed on the back of the truck. All natural light and great fun!

This engagement shoot was captured in the peak district, using a waterproof camera. On a bright day the couple were asked to embrace on a small outcropping in the distance forming a perfect silhouette.

Ahead of the big day we took the couple to Beatson Castle, walking the walls with a drop on the other side this brave couple lead each other across as the sunset in the distance making a moody sky.

This was a unique elopement moment, it’s not every day we catch a couple walking through such an epic scene at sunset, so it made sense to turn this film moment into stunning still. This story was all about saying yes when the world said no, it truly was beautiful.

This image was a fast abstract capture, the shutter has been dragged as the bride’s vale was waving in the wind. This caused some fun optical illusions, catching the light and softening the vale as it moved. This was snapped outside the church as the bride arrived.

Captured at the end of an adventure shoot as the sun set on the edge of a cliff. This was a shot we built up to after all the fun stuff and it turned into a great trust exercise for the couple too!

A great moment using off-camera flash to balance the exposure. At the top of a hill, we found some colorful bushes which complimented her dress. With some OCF I was able to capture a little burst from the sun as it came out from a cloud.

One of my favorite moments from an engagement shoot. Everything came together, the sun was setting, the water was still and the couple was full of energy. Leaving them to play and run around I caught this moment which shows high energy between them as they were both caught mid-air running.

Captured in Snowdonia in late summer, this cove is tucked away in the middle of nowhere. Having found a small outcropping for the couple to stand on I ventured out into the water. Lowering the camera as low as possible to grab this snap. The water was freezing but it was worth it!

With the weather too cold to take the couple outside it was time to get creative. Using a mirrored glass table to make a reflection I positioned it between the lights and asked the couple to embrace. Dialing down the ambient light and using a low powered gridded flash I was able to isolate the couple to create this effect.
