Never seen rubber duckies dressed for a wedding before but I loved using it...especially when it’s an inside joke with the bride and bridesmaids!
Wedding of three, Abel, Irene and little Edna let me share with them one of the best love stories. Children always have an added bonus to my photographs and in this case it was surprising the excitement with which Edna lived every moment with her parents, from beginning to end. A photo that will become one of the ones that make up my little great collection, one of which splurges the pure innocence and happiness of our childhood.

If I’m lucky enough to shoot your wedding (and you’re thinking of a pre-wedding shoot) I’ll always ask you to think big! Kaiyan & Xiao went big - and we ended up driving over to Wells-next-the-Sea in Norfolk (in the UK) to shoot some epic sunset portraits. This gorgeous image was taken just as the sun was going to sleep, framed perfectly by the iconic Norfolk beach huts :)
When your grandfather is so happy to be at your wedding... A special day for him to see his granddaughter get married. He is the first one to congratulate you with your marriage ♥
As a kitesurfer, the beach is one of my favorite places to be. Today I had a bride and groom who kitesurf too. I captured this surf-couple on their spot in Holland. It was at the end of the day; the sea was nice and calm and the only company was little birds at the seaside. A very dreamy surrounding for o lovely romantic shot.
Being glamorous is about strength and confidence. It's black and white - dramatic. You have to be strong. I prefer black and white and portrait photography. I like old, you know, interesting faces, so I think black and white brings out the contrast.
This group of the gal´s where the most fun-loving persons I work on, this picture do not need explaining, I was going to take the bridesmaid with the bride, but the gust of wind came up and I just took it.
A stormy day in June on the lovely island Terschelling (Netherlands). With a wind force 10 it was a challenge to take pictures on the deserted beach. But we took the chance and made this lovely picture.
Thanks, Wedisson for selecting this picture. Check out more of this couple on www.maaikefotografie.com
Love is in the air! Raul and Fjora had a lot of feelings that day! It was full of joy and happiness. This is the second award from Raul and Fjora. I love these guys!

I had taken Carl and Rowan off for portraits, but as they were so much fun, I just told them to mess around and do whatever they wanted! What followed was a good ten mins of laughter and eventually Carl convinced Rowan he was going to give her a piggyback and it was hilarious :-)

Thank you for the award. This was a natural light portrait for Felix's wedding last summer, captured as a reflection in the mirror from the opposite side of the room
I love it to be on the dancefloor between all the dancing guests. To capture all the fun at the end of the day. The wedding couple between all their friends and family having fun together.
We finished our session with this couple on the beach and prepare a fire. We told them to relax and enjoy the moment together...
The love is really in the air with this couple as he carries her on a little dyke along the river.. only eyes for each other... What else does love need...
A simple picture on which I wanted to show pure love. Very tight staff allowed me to create a climate ... and the beautiful bride made it easier for me to do this ;)

Jaime-Lee showcasing her beautiful wedding dress at Hallgarth Manor in Durham. The window frames her beautifully and the curtains provide a natural symmetry!
A fun journey together!
Melanie and Vinod are such a couple who have loved adventure in their life. And as a photographer I wanted to reflect the adventure they loved in the picture! ❤️
It was a hot day in August. We a nice place in the shadow between two big trees. The sun was high in the sky and my couple so in love!
This shot was taken at the cocktail party post wedding. The venue had a natural pond under a huge banyan tree. I could see a clear reflection of the tree! I thought why not use natural reflection and get a great shot! The tree is also adding more beauty to the shot!
Every love story deserves to be captured with beautiful, dreamy and romantic pictures, and what could be more magical than this beautiful tomb of historical city - Delhi!
This amazing couple said they wanted to jump into the pool instead of having an opening dance. On an incredibly hot summer day, this was the perfect way to get the party started. Soon most guests joined them (including me of course!).
The Gorgeous Engagement Session, done during the Golden Hour on the Beautiful beach in South Australia.
The gorgeous couple Jess and Dave were amazing to work with! And we had some great laughs and a really fun time! Can not wait to photograph their wedding later this year! Bring in November!! Congratulations Guys!!!
This feeling that hung in the air made us contact, not only eye contact but also emotional contact. We took the photo just before the end of the session. I remember that the wind increased and thanks to him I had some nice shots. I love bw photos so here is it. Thank you for choosing this one.
In this line of work, we get to see some of the most beautiful sights but this one here completely took our breath away. To get the resplendent backdrop but also give the limelight to the client and balance it tonight lights was totally worth how this picture turned out.
Nailed it! This little bridesmaid took her job with so much flair you just couldn't resist her... At this beautiful and intimate bohemian wedding in Bruxelles, she got all eyes on her!
Thank you Wedisson!

Whilst out during the day exploring the woodland at Shotton Grange, a small North East country house wedding venue, the couple and I came across a beautiful ancient chestnut tree with a lovely old rope swing, and I just knew we'd have to come back after dark to capture a stunning nighttime portrait. The image is lit with two speedlights, one behind the couple, and one off-frame to the left on low power to illuminate the canopy of the tree. This was by far my favorite shot of the whole wedding, full of drama and eerie beauty.
Beautiful bride and groom dancing on their wedding day at the beach. This photo was shot in black and white because it made the attention of the moment shift completely to the dancing bride and groom.
This horse was so special to the bride. You can see the special connection in the eye of the horse. The reflection is extra if you ask me.... Sadly the horse passed away shortly after the wedding, so the picture has become even more special an precious to all of us.
This wonderful couple did their loveshoot at my favourite place, the dunes in Holland. They where the cutest.
Their little boy was with them all the time. We visited her grandparents right after this shoot, for he was just released from the hospital and to weak to visit their wedding. So sweet and loving
Reflections: Absolutely loved creating this shot. Captured at a beautiful boutique hotel in Galway, Ireland.
The chandeliers and fairy lights just make it so romantic looking.
