Photographer, educator and a food-lover!
The candle light ceremony at Kaitlyn and Habib's wedding was quite the spectacle. The light inside the room was dimmed down and most of the ambient light came from the candles. I had the opportunity to get to the second floor balcony to get the bird's eye view of the whole ceremony. The movement of the Kaitlyn's dress, Habib's warm smile and the symbolism of them being surrounded by their friends and family, all came together in perfect harmony! This is one of those shots, that will stay as my favourite for a long time to come!
With TIFF (Toronto International Film Festival) going on at the heart of Toronto, the streets were bustling with people even late at night. In the midst of all the traffic, a moment was shared between our couple Krystal and Mark. The night time cityscape, with the CN tower in the distance, provided for a perfect romantic background. In order to capture this image, enough ambient light had to be gathered through the lens. 35mm f1.4 prime lens was the perfect choice for this shot. The prime lens was used in conjunction with off camera flash behind the couple to create the silhouette.
After a long wedding day, after all the speeches are done, it was the perfect time to sneak out with this beautiful bride and groom for some romantic shots just outside the reception hall. When the chemistry is excellent and the couple look as good as Nataliya and David, everything aligns perfectly at the click of the shutter! This image was every bit as elegant and beautiful as I had envisioned in my mind!
At the couple's engagement session, we took shots of them with the stars and the moon. On the wedding day, it was only suiting to take them to the clouds! During their portrait session after the ceremony, we took them to hills on this beautiful day. This image was made in camera using the reflections on the iPhone. When our couple saw the image, they exclaimed "you took us to the clouds!
This photo was taken at Ca’ d’Zan in Sarasota FL. Nataliya is the ‘ideal’ bride for a photographer. She was always so completely trusting in our ability and in our creative visions, in fact she often referred to us as the ‘visionaries’. Living up to such expectation is a challenge that is very rewarding! When we found these banyan trees at Ca’ d’Zan, we knew that it would be the perfect setting for our couple! Nataliya and David are incredibly elegant and sexy people and we wanted to show that in the picture. What better setting for such bride and groom than the look of a 'deep jungle'!
