KayPhoto4u Personal Art

KayPhoto4u Personal Art Wedding Photography is based in The Netherlands. Established in the mid-'00s by Karin Heinen it has ever since developed a well-appreciated name in the wedding biz. A team of 4 professionals with a drive to create an alternative view on traditional standards. Their motto 'Personal Art Wedding' stands for a rare & unique approach that frees this team of being held back to one particular photographic style.

With every new assignment a personalized approach to the marrying couple is developed, taking their wishes and making them come true in handmade photographic digital filters that do not only fit the 'story of the day', but even the very chapters of the wedding day.

Every story gets a tangible result such as an album, high-quality prints, a unique photo box and/or outstanding wall decorations.

Winning photos

We're so thrilled and grateful to have won our 8th Wedisson Award! Saskia and Ronald celebrated their wedding day on September 19th, 2019. A joyful and intense day to remember. This lovely couple chooses several locations for their photoshoot. The Dominican Monastery of Zwolle (The Netherlands) offers great backgrounds wherever you look. The cool thing about this picture is that it's actually taken when we already finished up the shoot itself. As galant as Ronald is he kept the door open for his bride on the way out. We loved the light putting the couple in contours. Although there's a lot of black in this shot, it still shows the calm and easy feel that surrounds these lovebirds.

In a typical fisherman's village with a very old harbor, this couple met each other at the local supermarket. They had chosen for a fun photoshoot for their wedding shoot and so we went to this local supermarket. As soon as we spotted the lady in her traditional Dutch clothing, we wanted to include her as she really stands for the old traditions this village (and The Netherlands) is known for. She didn't bother at all when the groom raced through the lane with his girlfriend laughing and screaming in the shopping kart. This moment was so much fun. We are very proud and happy with this award. Thank you so much.

Wouter & Danique at sundown. This great location Hoeve Sparrendam has so many nice spots. A couple of balloons and a small moment was all we needed to shoot this fun picture. Thanks, Wedisson!

On a warm but cloudy day in the summer of 2019, we did a Rock-the-Dress photo shoot with Ellen and Mark to honor their one year wedding anniversary. At one of the greatest photographic spots of our hometown Amersfoort - De Wagenwerkplaats- there's overwhelming and interesting scenery every 10 yards you walk. For this picture Mark and Ellen stepped up on a pile of debris and did what we think they do best; enjoy their deep love and profound friendship with a proper kiss. When a good breeze got a hold on Ellen's veil to top it all off, this picture was the result. We're very proud of this second Wedisson of 2019.

Interesting vintage style spiral staircases are pretty hard to come by in The Netherlands. When this couple told us they arranged a possibility to take some of their wedding photos at Landgoed de Paltz (Soest, NL) we were delighted to have this opportunity. The Herman van Veen Art Center on this estate provides great scenery in every room and space it offers. This bird-eye shot was taken from the second store down and offers a sweet and spontaneous embrace of these lovebirds.

This picture of Chris and Leonie was taken on their Wedding Day september 16th 2017. At the beautiful Castle De Schaffelaar, Barneveld, The Netherlands, which was the setting of their wedding all day, we had just finished their shoot and the ceremony was about to begin in ca. 30 minutes. The guests had not arrived yet. The room where the ceremony was going to take place was all set. With all the fun and excitement we had with this great couple during the shoot, we challenged Chris and Leonie to realize this funny final shot. It turned out great.

Armed with a wide-angle lens to increase the depth of the venue and the length of Chris's arms we decided to take the photo from the lowest perspective possible. We are very happy with the final result and we're proud of the given honors by Wedisson.

This couple was fond of our Personal Art Styling with a mint green touch and a fresh sharpness. We had a lot of fun with them while creating their wedding shoot. They laughed, jumped, swirled, kissed and lots of other fun stuff and still are very happy with the results. We are very grateful that this wonderful moment got an award. Thank you!

Kelly and John's wedding took place at a beautiful lakeside in the area of Amsterdam, The Netherlands. For their wedding shoot we started out with some great shots aside of the lake itself, but a little further up the road we discovered this small but overwhelmingly green park where the roses were in full bloom.
Kelly and John are actually a sweet, but also a powerful couple. So, their wish was to see romance, as well as fire and power in the Personal Wedding Art we had to develope for them.
In this picture we framed them exactly in their personal interaction. Of course the kiss draws attention, but especially the way the couple is holding hands appealed to us. As if all the sweetness of the roses and the softness in the many shades is being levelled in the couples kiss and the way they hold hands.
