I started my career in the field of advertising until I discovered my passion towards photography. My journey in this field started by assisting renowned photographer Jatin Kampani for 4 years after which I took on fashion photography assignments for brands like PVR, L'Oréal, Femina & Filmfare. And then, 7 years ago, I shifted my focus to wedding photography & co-founded Knotting Bells – a wedding photography and cinematography company. To date, we have shot over 250 weddings across the globe in countries like India, Maldives, Italy, USA, UK, UAE, Thailand and more. We have also had the privilege to shoot a number of celebrity weddings. We believe that the lens speaks more than words and a single photograph is enough to tell an entire story. I take a very personalized approach to my work. I love to capture the essence of the wedding and create images that stand the test of time with a combined approach to directed portraiture and photojournalism.

This wedding was a blend of two cultures coming together. The bride wore a beautiful white wedding gown along with traditional red chuda bangles and it was set against the stunning blue Turkey waters. Although every frame from this day was picture perfect, we happened to catch this candid moment with the flowing wind making her veil come over her face and she closed her eyes for just a moment.
Meghna and Jai approached us for the pre-wedding shoot in the middle of the lockdown, where resources and accessibility to places were limited and scarce. When I saw Meghna & Jay, I knew it would be an interesting collaboration where we use our own creativity and decor elements to enhance the shoot. I instantly thought why not create our own little set and vibe and bring our own little feel of a Pinterest shoot to life for this beautiful couple who resonated with the bohemian vibes and breezy weather. Hence, this shot was captured at Jai’s own backyard where the garden was ornamented with neutral props and florals.
