Edith Van Aken

This photo was taken on a warm summer evening in my hometown. We had luck with the beautiful blooming wild flowers that were on their best during this shoot. I gave the couple several tasks, so that they did not think about the camera, but could relax and laugh. So glad with the result!

This beautiful couple thought the wedding pictures were very important! We really enjoyed all the georgeous backgrounds in the castle Groot Buggenum in Holland. I took the OCF and we created some fairytale like photographs together. So thankful I am allowed to use these in my portfolio!

This couple married in the beautiful country Peru. Just a few hours from the big city Lima. The ceremonie was on a beach and we did a loveshoot in the harbor. After the ceremonie and reception I suggested to go to the mountains nearby for a golden hour shoot. The bride worried about the sand getting on her dress, so the groom lifted her up. That's when I got this wonderful shot!

This was a dream couple. They reserved a couple of hours to do the photography. I worked at this castle before, and wanted to do something special with the beautiful old things in the ancient building. Here I shot through the banister, it had beautiful curves. I also love the window and the standing clock, together with this couple it gives the image a fairytale atmosphere.

The summer of 2018 was an exceptional warm summer for Holland. Also on this wedding day in June. So we stayed in the shade as much as possible for the photoshoot. This little girl wanted to sit in the oldtimer and found out you can make a lot of noise with the hooter.
