Amarins and Bram chose to get married in the beautiful northern french town of Salesches. After the official part, we chose to go outside and play with the wind and the veil. The photo is the result of perfect weather and a perfect model.
This was taken at the beautiful Sint Joris kerk in Eindhoven, Netherlands. During the ceremony i scouted the whole church to find a nice composition. I think this picture really shows how big the church is, as the bride and groom give an scale of this magnificent location.
The forecast of this day were terrible. Storms, rain and other bad weather was expected; but nothing other than the opposite was true this day. As we walked through the beautiful park, the sun at its highest point, i saw this perfect mixture between sunlight and shadows! Thanks to my b1 i could even out the foreground and background.
While everyone was trying to get a picture of the bride and groom, I saw the father of the bride struggling to get the lighting correct on his phone. After helping him with the settings I decided to frame the couple in the phone for an extra perceived depth to the picture.
Love is a feeling too difficult to define. When it’s true, it is one of the most powerful things in the world. It seemed only fitting that we portrayed this at one the most powerful decors of the earth. We took it at Skogafoss in Iceland on a very cold, but beautifully sunny morning. I love how the colors of her jacket, the waterfall and the snow comes back into the rainbow we had due to the mist of the waterfall.
