I like this picture very much. I agree that the picture is thrown flowers, this picture is another picture of the emotions of friends and flowers are very clear.
A newly wed couple in Oirschot in The Netherlands. The family and friends threw confetti at the freshly married couple and the bride is loving it.
Getting ready for one of the biggest days is a brides most moment she could cherish for a lifetime, and who could forget the tools that help in the process? :)
Thank you for the award. This was in Kew Gardens for Balwinda and James's wedding. The sun was so bright during the ceremony that most guests had the order of service covering their eyes for shelter.
This photo was captured at the York Principal Hotel. Simon and Carol are such lovely people and they then went over to Hong Kong for a wedding there too.
The shot was created with a CTO Key light in the front and a purple gelled flash behind shooting into the chandelier.
This picture was shot at The Top of The Rock Observation Deck of Rockefeller Center. There was a huge crowd on the observation deck. At one point I had no clue how I should take pictures for them. After a few regular pictures, I had my couple stand as close as they could to the corner. I instructed my assistant to hold the speed light and hide in the crowd. Then I quickly went to the next floor above them and shot from above in order to get a wide angle picture including the New York City as a nice background . The crowd around them were very nice and congratulated them by clapping their hands, which I thought is a great bonus to the picture!
The moment I walked into the room to shoot the getting-ready of the bride, this 3-legged Sphynx cat was staring straight at me. I immediately got this "Lord of the Rings" feel, so the idea to shoot this image naturally came to mind.
I always loved the unexpected shots, take this picture for example, it was taken on the way back home, from a long day shoot.
This story was created at Elmore Court in Gloucestershire between Kerstie-Ann and Richard. As a wedding photographer, it's your job not to take control of the day but to allow it to flow, making the story real. I had already scouted the beautiful location on my walk around and knew that I had just a few mins to set the shot up while they were finishing desserts. Off camera flash feathering around the couple using a 14-24 lens, took 4 shots and pushed them away to carry on their fantastic wedding day.
I love how the shorter winter days push us to be more creative when producing portraits after dark. I created this image using in camera multiple exposures using the fairy light wall.
It was absolutely pouring with the rain on the day these two got married. They had hired a vintage red bus to the guests to and from the church. How could I possibly miss the opportunity to get some bride and groom photos on there?!
A wonderful moment during the Ceremony at the very beautiful Magdelene College Cambridge. There was very little room for me to stand at the front to capture the ceremony, but as the scene from the back looked so stunning - so I didn't mind.
It was a great ceremony. The bride was so happy on that day and when the moment came to put on the wedding ring, she could not put it on. Everyone started laughing at the whole situation. I had only a moment to capture this moment.
Just before I left Kellie and Stacey, I saw this stunning setting. I asked them to take a walk toward the field and here, they stopped... it was a beautiful moment.
I adore this couple so much! To photograph them was a real pleasure, as their love is everywhere! The shoot took place on the beach, when the sun was setting, so everything was just magical, I could feel it, and I guess you can too...
First of all, it was during the dressing of the bride in the dressing room. On the other side, the photographer's assistant team is storing the stuff in that room. When moving the large mirror to the other corner of the room. The rhythm is a reflection of the look. So I hurried to take a photo immediately.
It had been the hottest day and the cake although brought into the marquee and assembled later in the afternoon, was starting to feel the effects of the day. As Rosy and George cut into the top tier of the cake it started to lift up and almost come off. This shot is their expressions as it happened.
#RaveWithNikki was their hashtag!
We had the beach! We had the sunset!!
I think this picture (straight out of the camera) justifies them all!
